(draught) murky amber-brown colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of wheat and banana skins, slightly biscuity, with a heavy sticky fruitiness, peaches, apricots, some caramel and mint. flavour is mostly caramelized wheat and peaches, with lots of caramel, some more banana, a touch of milk chocolate, grass and vanilla. heavy-bodied with average carbonation. On tap at Paulaner Im Tal. Perfectly cloudy and dirty/rusty caramel brown in color with a booming khaki tan head with circular lacing tracts. Spicy nutmeg on liquefied bananas gets us going early on, deployed synchronously with wafts of cocoa butter on melted caramel, cloves, pepper and a touch of orange crème toffee chews. A flavor to savor. Refreshing caramel and pecan toffee ribbons lay a sweet coalescing flavor blanket. Sweet brown sugared dates with some a batch of banana honey bunches of oats. Condoning and honed carbonation allows the pepper, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg quad-factor to pipe up the mouth feel. Hints of spicy rye curves into a liquefied and brown sugar sweetened pumpernickel tract. Phenomenally balanced with an overarching, flavorful theme. Brown sugared and browned bananas hit nutmeg in a delicately significant manner in the finish, with some buttery caramel nougats, serving due process to the stuff that legends are made of. Bottled, sampled at the Paulaner brewpub in Munich. Strongly yeasty aroma, lots of the traditional banana and clove, some faint alcohol and plenty of light, milky caramel sweetness, also very fruity with notes of apple, pear and lemon, and accompanied by rich, bready malts. Exceedingly cloudy amber color, spectacular lacing and a nicely lasting ivory head. Flavor profile is big, estery and malty, spicy with the voluminous amounts of Weizen yeast, some light brown sugar sweetness throughout. Finishes strongly, some faint peppery alcohol and balanced malt/yeast attributes, also some gently spicy hop bitterness. Palate is quite effervescent; medium-full body. A good example of the style.
