Draught at brewpub. Creamy white good fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Nice hoppy aroma and very good flavor. Oily palate. A good Zwickel. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2006
Draught at the bräuhaus in München. Yellow colour with a big white head. Herbal aroma and a malty, herbal taste. Medium body with a light bitter finish. Hawksfan17 (890) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUN 24, 2005
Munich - I had this in another place besides the brewhouse, so it is available elsewhere. It was gold with a nice head. There is a light malty aroma, the flavor is similar with a hoppy? wheat? finish. It was kind of confusing. beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 28, 2005
Very delicious. My favorite of the set. Much like candied apples and other fruits, a solid lagerish style. Dorqui (2260) - Brescia, ITALY - JAN 12, 2005
Lightly amber color with one beautiful dense foam, much creamy. Perfumed andfizzy. Determined aroma and consisting. Optimal persistence.

Fresh, floral and lightly malty aroma, a tiny amount of honeyish sweetness but a nice yet subtle hoppiness appears. As it warms, gains some lightly perfumy notes. Very lightly hazy golden color, with a nicely creamy, fine head and plenty of lacing. Flavor is well balanced, the faintly sweet maltiness melding well with the leafy hoppiness. Balanced throughout. Palate is quite smooth and creamy, light-medium bodied. Quite tasty. marcusm (56) - Remich, LUXEMBOURG - JUL 20, 2004
Sampled at the Paulaner Brauhaus Munich on draught. Aroma of pale malts with a bit of crystal, A head that disiptes reasonably quickly, colour is light gold and murky in appearance - as it is a zwickelbier(unfiltered) The taste is intially dry malt with a seetish hop character, roundin out into a sooth full crystal malt taste with Saaz in the background. The malt taste dies back but leaving a superb hoppy aftertaste. jonas (7986) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JUL 16, 2002
Hazy amber - no head.
Could not detect much aroma. The taste has the typical honeyish taste i recognize from other unfiltered brewpub lagers, must be the yeast.
