World Cup seasonal. Hazy tan with lots of bubbles and a thick head. The aroma is a bit buttery and a little bready. Sweetish and slightly spicy taste. Relatively soft body and the butter shows - unfortunately - mainly in the aftertaste. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 23, 2010
Draft @ brewpub. Hazy burnt orange hue with lively carbonation, and a very thick stable head. The aroma is sour and buttery, quite off-putting at first. The flavors, however, are fine. It’s a thin beer but the butter does make the palate oily. Sweetish malts mix with minerals. In spite of the aroma it remains drinkable with a crisp grassy hop finish.
