I drank this beer today in the Paulaner restaurant, close to the main river in this busy city of Shanghai. The price in the restaurant is too high, better to try to find a can in a supermarket, if they do that. Tje body is a nice yellow troubled color, a bit orange, nice white foam, regular carbonation. The taste is well balanced, wheat giving a nice touch of banana, pleasant at the tongue and refreshing with the wet weather of this city.

In bottles from my local Publix supermarket, usually poured into a beer glass at home, accompanied by some cheese (sharp cheddar or Babybel swiss) dipped in sriracha while watching DVD of films such as Captain America: Winter Soldier, The Devil’s Rain, Black Sunday, Near Dark, Interstellar, The Social Network, etc. This is quite possibly my favorite beer - from the delightful yeasty overtones, which offer a spicy-like aftertaste, to the wonderful lacing on the newly-emptied glass ("Dat lacing, tho!"), I never grow tired of this wonderful stuff! After polishing off a sixer, I’ll usually grill a steak along with some sliced onions, all the while watching more movies in a dark room; in the winter the home I rent is pretty frosty due to no central heat, so I’m bundled up pretty well, with some nice frost coming out of my mouth, and steam rising from the ribeye - but the temperature keeps the Hefeweizen nice and cold! In the warmer months, I rely on a window unit A/C, plus a box fan to keep a nice, cool breeze on my as I take these bottles out of the makes for a pleasant experience!

Lemon-gold and cloudy with a thick white head, some lacing, and a ripe banana-banana bread nose. Easy intro with a thin, watery mouthfeel and an underripe banana, somewhat spicy finish.

Draft. Pours a hazy orangish color. Aroma and taste are wheat, bananas, and cloves.

Excellente bière au goût de banane et herbes. Juste assez amer pour ce genre de bière. Apparence presque parfait pour le type de bière

Pours a cloudy orange . Slight aroma of banana? very slight? I picked up some notes of banana and orange. Slightly hoppy finish. Pretty good Hefe Weizen.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2014 Alaranjado, boa espuma, turva, na boca tamarindo, banana, carbonatada, alta acidez (azeda), nada de amargor
