Brown-yellow cloudy appearance with white head. Banana aroma with notes of vanilla, cloves and roasted malt. Sweet flavor with notes of banana and wheat. Somewhat dry finish. My favorite german wheat.

On a sea view cafe in Satorini after a day in the sun - a perfect place for a weisse. Proper grainy feeling of wheat malt, round flavour with a hint of yeast and a fine lemony finish. I had one more!

Nice hazy golden/yellow color, huge white bubbly head which resulted in a permanent coating of bubbles on the surface. Aroma was flowery and citrusy with some hints of wheat, yeast, spices (especially clove). Nice crisp refreshing mouthfeel, very light without being watery. A really good range of typical hefe-weizen flavors: citrus, banana, clove/spice, wheat/bread, yeast. Awesome.

[bottle] Pours a very hazy yellow color, with a plentyful, white head. Aroma is very nice- bananas, wheat and some nice yeast. Flavors are crisp, refreshing and finish kind of dry. Lemony citrus, yeast and some moderate spices in the finish. Very nice.

On tap at the Brickside. Pours a hazy milky golden orange amber with an average creamy white head that laced and sustained. Aroma of wheat, banana, lemon, orange and yeast. Flavor was even more of the yeast, banana, some citrus and a slight tart.

Bottle 51F Weizen. A wonderful spicy and sweet and citrusy aroma. Nice amount of pepper balanced against yeast and orange. Nice and delicious smell. A nice hazy orange color, with a grea long lasting white thick head, with little to no lacing. Good taste, nice wheat flavors, finishes dry yet starts spicy and sweet. Delicious sour notes, plenty of great wheat taste. Good beer with great yeastiness, A nice wheat definately. Light palate fully refreshing, kills the summer heat, moderate carbonation, nice. I dig this brew ganz gut.

Draft @ Great Lost Bear in Portland - Poured a quite hazy yellow in color with a medium bright white head. Significant lacing. Aroma was bready/yeasty with a substancial amount of the classic clove/banana that you would expect of a weizen. Flavor was nutty with the wheat and quite strong of the clove/banana. Nice palate. Really nice...

Never been a fan of wheats, but this is a good one. Tastes almost like an exotic fruit juice. Frothy white head and decent lacing, opaque tangerine color, spicy and fruity flavor. This one might make me a convert. VERY nice.

Golden pour with a big pillowy head of soft bubbles. Clean crisp wheat aroma. The flavor is slightly sweet with a wheaty refreshing body. Delicious.
