crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - OCT 6, 2006
Draft. It poured a nice cloudy orangey gold hue with a full thick white head. Aroma was a nice mix of yeast and lemons. A good balance of bread notes and citrus notes. Crisp and full yet easy t to drink.

One of the best weisse beers. The taste and this cloudy body with the nice heading makes Paulaner one of the nicest.

Labeled "Natural Wheat", I assume this is it... its very refreshing, strong citrus, banana aroma and a nice sweet sour flavour. Great beer, good example of the style.

Vibrant apricot-orange, snowy white head. Begins with succulent crunchy green apple and banana, parts with a woody dryness. Remember those long-outlawed candy cigarettes you could buy in the 80s? That’s what the nose reminds me of. Sweet, but plenty enough tart wheat and resiny dryness to have me reaching for another. Nicely rounded Hefe.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2006 Cloudy, golden, with white head. Smells largely of bread - wheaty, malty, sweet, with some interesting spice and fruit notes (apple?). The flavor is quite nice - very wheaty, hints of hops, and large doses of yeast - delicious weizen yeast (bready, sweet, cloves, fruit). Mouthfeel is medium feel with a decent bit of carbonation zing.

greenmanalishi (547) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2006
500ml bottle. Pours amber-orange with a large, thick, white, frothy head. Aromas of grass and slight pepper. Differs from the Erdinger with a fruiter and sweeter taste. Very fine carbonation and pleasing palate.

Bottle. A very nice hefeweiss, exactly as the classic german beer should be, doesn’t lose much in the importation
