Darkish brown, cloudy large pillowy white head; looks like a beer and isn’t afraid to show it; aroma of brown bread; taste is bready malt, wheat - the banana/bubblegum thing is less pronounced in this wheat beer; spice comes more to the fore as it warms; very soft character; finish is dry; a perfectly pleasant drink, no more, no less.

500ml bottle. Cloudy brownish body with a huge crown. Pretty similar to the original Paulaner, except for the roasted caramel notes.

Bottle at home. Sour malty nose. Amber hazy color two finger white head. Medium body, small bubbles, crisp, malty, sour finish. :) Bolton Brew.

vami (535) - Poznan, POLAND - OCT 10, 2013
Banana sweet nose, dark honey color and robust head. Not too full, a bit watery, nice wheat notes. Medium carbonation, some bubblegum flavor and clove. Sweet. No bitterness here. The finish is banana and fruity.

Bottle. Banana, wheat and bubblegum nose. Didn't get a whole lot of spice. Nicely sticky, but fizzy at the same time. Malts held everything together nicely. Light alcohol. A nice treat.

Bottle from the local supermaket. Pours a hot chocolate brown with a fizzy, fast dissolving head. Very hazy, almost opaque, like hefe-dunkels are supposed to be. Aroma: ripe banana and a very fresh dark bread. Some citric acid too. Taste: Dark bread once again, some cereal, with a background of brown sugar, field flowers and some citrus fruits. Pleasant beer, one of the better widely available dark Hefeweizens out there.

Pizd (435) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2013
(Bottle): Pours a murky brown, small tan head. Aroma of banana, clove, malt, wheat. Lots of banana, clove, wheat in the flavour with notes of bubblegum, malt, sweet fruit. Nice and thick.

Recenzja 19 czerwca 2011 Kolor ciemno bursztynowy, podchodzący pod brąz, mętny. Piana gęsta, przyjemny wygląd, średni czas utrzymywania. Wysokie nasycenie, zapach i smak typowy dla stylu, drożdżowy, bananowy, goździkowy.

Купил после пробы вайса этой фирмы. Вайс мне по нраву больше, но и это пиво хорошее.

This was one of the nicer dark hefes I had while I was in Munich in 2013. Thick on the tongue, caramel and banana.
