UPDATED: SEP 17, 2010 2009-08 Pours light amber with a medium sized dense and moderately lasting white head. Light maltiness with fresh hops in aroma. Clean maltiness with refreshing hops in flavor and a long lasting not so bitter aftertaste. 2010-09 Still light amber with thick medium sized frothy head which last for a while. Aroma is full or fruity hops with a refreshing apple like grassiness in background. Flavor is malty sweet at first, still on the refreshing side, and it finishes rather dry and bitter which makes you thirst for another sip.

1 liter can poured into a giant dimpled mug that came with it as a promotion. Clear golden with huge creamy white head. Aroma is caramel, biscuits and slight plastic. Flavor is caramel and some spice. Medium carbonation. Finish is lightly bitter.

Overall Impression: A pretty decent example of the style, I like this beer, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get one, I do find it to be a goo deal better on draft then from a bottle.

Flavors are very mild. Overall this gives the impression of a what a basic beer should be. The blandness of the main stream beers is said to be an intentional marketing ploy - "to offend as few people as possible." I believe that this beer is the best I have ever tasted which is not in conflict with that. In other words, anyone who likes the main stream beers should love this one. If you want a lot of flavor look elsewhere.

olsvammel (7220) - Örebro, SWEDEN - MAY 3, 2009
UPDATED: NOV 8, 2009 500 ml bottle. It poured a clear pale golden liquid with a small white foam. Stingy smell of sweet malt. Smooth mouthfeel with just a bit of stingyness. Weak taste of malt. Watery and light body, low bitterness and no taste of hops. Not allot of carbonation.

Bottle as image shows. Pours amber and smells of sweet spice and hops. Some bready and pils flavors going on. Lilvely.

Clear and yellow, thick white head. Nose of citrus and hops. Taste of bitter grapefruit and peel, some bread yeast. Crisp palate, bubbily and quick.
