8/X/17 - 1L can as "Wiesn Bier", shared @ Arno & Meggy's place - BB: IV/2018 (2017-1770) Thanks to Krisje for the can and nice glass!

Note: drank this for the first time a couple of years ago at the real Oktoberfest in München, but didn't take notes so vigorously back then, and I didn't really identify this as a different beer back then....

Clear blond beer, small creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, some caramel, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, bit metallic, some caramel, bitter touch, bit of cow fodder, grassy touch. Aftertaste: metallic bitterness, bit floral, caramel malts, nice one!

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 2017 Version in a 1/2 liter can. pours golden with a thick but quickly disappearing foam layer. for me it was just another strong lager. not bad but also nothing special.

Kauge (2131) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 18, 2017
Bottle from Rimi. BB 08.2018. Clear light gold with small head. Grainy, somewhat papery aroma and flavour, the floral (honey-ish even?) hops feel kinda strange, overall modest sweetness and very faint bitterness in the finish. Dry, light, crisp. Not exactly bad, but I'm not really enjoying this.

Kita (2299) - Koper, SLOVENIA - NOV 17, 2017
Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma is grainy, grassy, floral and honeyish. Pours clear deep golden with thin quickly diminishing creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet grainy and grassy, following is bready, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not bad, but nothing special about it...

0,5 l bottle from Alko Hakaniemi, Helsinki. Apperance is golden and clear with a nice head. Taste is sweetish (alchohol) and herbal. This is basically a too strong helles. Probably quite nice with heavy German food.
