marcot (770) - Campomorone, ITALY - AUG 19, 2010
Alla spina al Paulaner’s di Lubeck; subito sembra non sapere di nulla, ma il sapore del malto emerge principalmente nel finale, appena prima del luppolo. Buonina dai

Svesse (8599) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2010
(Draught at Paulaner’s im Spreebogen, Berlin, 20 July 2010) Dark reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of dark bread and raisins. Malty, toasty taste with dark fruit, dark bread and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, fairly sweet. Decent but a tad boring.

downender (8659) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2010
Bottle from Le Jardin de Bière, St Just Luzac, France. Ruddy brown in colour with a decent, off-white head. Sweet caramel, prunes and dates with some doughy malts and syrupy finish. One dimensional.

Spelt (232) - East Kingston, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 18, 2010
Cola brown with thin short-lived head. No discernible aroma. Light carmale and molasses flavors. Weak finish.

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 23, 2010
Bottle. An amber beer, clear as can be, and topped by a small and rapidly disappearing off-white head. Toffee, some dms and a hint of dried fruits in the aroma. Too weak. Not very pronounced flavor either, caramel and hay doing most of the job. Medium body with too much carbonation, quite dry. The finish has a decent bitterness to balance the caramel. Boring, but sure drinkable. 100423

BeerBlockaid (683) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - APR 4, 2010
Bottle from Kardstadt @ Dortmund City Centre. Pours a thin cola with a tan-cola like head. Good size and fair amount of lacing. Nose is roasted malts, brown sugar, pine notes and bread-like malts. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, some bitters, and decent bread notes. Not as "yeast packed" as I would have expected from Paulaner but decent. Rather thin on the palate but the balance, with what’s available, is ok. Was expecting more.

TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 28, 2010
On tap at the Esplanade Bier Markt. Looks the part, and has a sweetish malty-nutty aroma. Wheat and fruit in the aroma, but not as much of the usual yeast additions as I was expecting. Some dark malt flavours as well, as in the aroma. I’d try this again.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 1, 2010
from beerangel.de - translucide ruby-brown colour with a little beige foam left; aroma of caramel with notes of butter; sweet and moderate malt body; quite dry caramelish finish - insignificant

Feinschmecker (202) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 27, 2009
Sweet sugary and cereal aroma. Thins and brown color. Not that heavy on the palate, no the body is actually thin. Lingering bitterness and perhaps to sweet. Caramel and bread-like flavor with a hint of fruit. Not bad, but could be more.

rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 2, 2009
500 ml bottle. From Germany. Dark reddish colour with small off-white head. Sweet caramel, some butter and roasted malt in aroma. Weak sweetish caramel, butter, dark fruits and malt in flavour.
