Mid brown, brief head. Sweet caramel, and slight nuttiness. Nothing particularly special, but I enjoyed it.
Rerate: Tap (Somewhere in Gangnam, near exit 9 of the station) (3:3:4:2:7=2.1)
Sweet and sour aroma. Cold. Watery and a bit fizzy. Some sweet malts and a bit brown, even mushroomy. Hasn’t travelled well, not going to change my recorded rating.
Bottle. Brown colour, hint of red. Unstable head. Metallic aroma. Sugary flavour, thin mouthfeel. Little aftertaste. Boring, but quite drinkable. gunnfryd (14872) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 3, 2010

Sweetish malty flavor with some toastiness and some caramel. Medium-bodied. Not a great Dunkel but still nice. Borup (14460) - Albertslund, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2010

Malty aroma with some coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied. Malty flavor with pear drups and just a hint of mocha. Great Paulaner bier, a very pleasant surprise. kermis (13255) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 14, 2016
Bottle at Brew Asiatique. Cloudy brown with a medium off white to light tan head. Aroma of rich malt, caramel, toffee, butterscotch and some dark fruity notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation. crossovert (12874) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2011
500ml bottle best before March ’12.
It pours a nice looking dunkel reddish brown but the head is sudsy and dissipates immediately with no lacing.
The smell is mostly grainy with some caramel and a hint of raisin.
The taste is sweeter and surprisingly more bitter than most dunkels. It isn’t the perfect balance though. It is hinged upon more cloying-like sweetness and more flavorless bitterness instead of that sweet but subtle sweetness and balancing hop flavor that a good dunkel should exhibit. Nevertheless it isn’t bad, but it certainly could be more refined.

500ml bottle shared with Finn in the biergarten at Viktualienmarkt, München. Clear ruby brown with a filmy layer. Sweet malts dominate the vague smell. Roasted, but not burnt malt in flavour plus sweet toasty notes. Maybe a bit too sweet. Medium bodied (18.06.2007)
