When the Original Münchner was brewed for the first time at the end of the 19th Century, it was a spectacular success. With its hoppy taste, subtle, light and elegant, it becomes ever popular. Today the Paulaner Original Münchner is the best sold Münchner Hellbier (lager beer) in the world and Paulaner's No. 1 export beer in over 30 countries with its wonderfully subtle, spicy, naturally hearty taste.

Light, golden see through on the pour. Lightly bodied, with a hint of hopy notes. Refreshing good lager

Bottle from Beerwulf online. Golden beer with large foam head. Aroma of....well it's hard to describe. It smells and tastes like a helles or any other type of lager should. Clean, crisp and fresh. Very good.

Towey1989 (3423) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2017
Bottle at Beerdock Leek. Pours a golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of cereal, slight bready malts and subtle grass. Taste of cereal, some bready malts, slight grass and subtle butter. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A soft, dry, cereal malt bitterness in the finish. A typical german helles really. Decent.

Svijetlo zuta boja, veoma prozirno. Postojana debela bijela pjena. Citrusne arome, naročito limun, osjeti se aroma meda i kvasca. Srednje karbonizacije i gorčine, vodene teksture.

geolgau (544) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - DEC 4, 2017
Clean, crisp lager profile of wet grains, grassy herbs, bread and lemon-ish zest. Will quench your thirst.

I drank this on tap in the hotel bar from Arcadia Hotel at the Munich Airport, Clear golden beer with very short small white head, taste not special, boring,

Jabic (733) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - NOV 30, 2017
Ar: Crackers and dried mixed flowers; subtle notes of sulfur, toast, and chalk. Ap: Yellow-gold and crystal clear; very large off-white head with phenomenal retention, leaving an airy cap of foam and spotted lacing along the glass sides. T: Clean cracker malt with a bit of a toast edge; lightly sweet; a touch of sulfur; bitterness is low and clean, with a dried flower flavor, a little rosy; black pepper and a fuller, lightly toasty maltiness toward the middle and into the finish; chalk, floral hops, and bitterness on the finish. P: Medium-light body with high carbonation; dry finish. O: Simply a well-made helles lager; malt-focused, even though the flavor is delicate and light; just enough bitterness and hop flavor to balance; very clean fermentation profile, and quite easy-drinking and refreshing.

Bottle - pale yellow, medium with very small white head. Small lemony aroma. Ting on tongue and in mouth. Slightly tangy tasting, but standard lager basically - very thin.

It’s a little hoppy for me and I’m not fond of the aftertaste. Still searching for the perfect Lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
