bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 15, 2004
Pale colour with a frothy white head that lasted the distance and left some good lacing. Hop aroma. Taste is ok, malty, oily, grain, a reasonable sort of body with a semi sweet finish.

Bottle. Pretty clean pilsener. Sweet pale malt to start, finishes dry and crisp (slightly fizzy), some grassy hops in their. Not too much going on, but its fairly pleasant drinking.

eczematic (1325) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - OCT 4, 2004
extremely dull but quite drinkable pils. good pencil shavings & herb aroma, with a reasonable amount of malt. taste is very light, grainy malt sweetness turning dry, bitter and slightly sour (er...crisp?). lemony/minty/flowery hop aftertaste lingering. not bad but a bit thin.

BeerandBlues2 (13695) - Escondido, California, USA - SEP 23, 2004
Pours a dark yellow with a tall, frothy white head. Fair lacing as some head remains. Aroma is hops and flowers, a tad sour on the nose. The flavor is somewhat bitter, yet refreshing. Palate is light-bodied and clean.

Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 21, 2004
Clear, golden yellow, formidable froth atop, snow-white. Nose is dry, quiet, lightly hoppy, with tiny traces of honey and flowers. Very smooth on the tongue and down the throat. Starts dry, gives a sweet tingle at the back. Extraordinarily light-bodied, without being simple or lacking in flavor. Just enough taste on the palate to make each sip beckon the next. Very nice lager, indeed. I’m not the biggest fan of this style, but it’s an excellent example, and I can see it come in especially handy when thirst-quenchin’ is the order of the day.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2004 12 oz bottle: Pours a medium yellow with a thin white head. Tastes a bit skunky, but my bottle was close to the serve by date (shame on me for not checking beforehand). Overall not a bad beer.

Clear light yellow with a thick rocky white head. Aroma of light bread, herbs, honey, pepper, and grass. Medium light watery body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Flavor of grain, light bread, honey, pepper, and herbs. Bitter grain filled finish. Decent.

Tap at bavarian grill in plano. pours a golden yellow with a bland dead aroma of grains. taste is also flat and lifeless. leaves a sour oaky finish

wilkie (1208) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - AUG 19, 2004
Draught. Pale-golden, with medium white head. Good carbonation. Aroma is faint of malt. Flavor is rubber, crisp, and bitter. Oh well, stale flavor even in draught.
