UPDATED: SEP 19, 2011 Kedvenc. (Az egyik.) A vád max. az lehetne vele szemben, hogy nőies, mert olyan kis finomkodó, semmi rikító vagy brutális élmény, ezzel szemben: tökéletes harmonia és kifinomultság jellemzi. A pohara, illetve a virágos váza-szerú "korsója" igazán embertpróbáló, ahogy a pohár keskeny nyakában a habdugó mögül a nyakadba zúdul a feltorlódott, aranyban játszó narancsos vörös nedű. Többször teszteltem: sokkal jobban ízlik ezekből, mint bármi más kehelyből. . * One of my favourites. The only thing you could say against this beer is that it’s feminine because it’s somewhat too genteel: this beer is not a harsh or brutal experience, but it’s characterized by perfect harmonies and refinement. It’s not easy to drink it from its accompanying thin-necked glass, as the golden-orange tinted liquid breaking free from under the head of foam can easily end up on your chest. But after several tests I can confirm that the beer tastes much better from its proper glass than from any other kind of vessel.

Tumbler glass at a restaurant in Copenhagen Colour is dark red like copper. Has a pleasant scent. Taste caramel, delicate, just enough sweet.

Nice bronze color. Carbonation is lively. Taste is very herby and spicy, with a clear tone of alcohol and dried fruits. Leaves a warm feeling after a sip. Aroma is butterscotch and herbs. Texture is oily. Overall; really ok Belgian ale.

For what it is, a pale ale, it has a decent taste with light fruit to it. It is drinkable, certainly, and for pale ale lovers, this one might be right up your alley, along with the Tripel Karmeliet and perhaps the La Corne.

Keg at The Head Of Steam, Leeds. A clear amber colour with a thick, fluffy off white head. Aroma of bready malts, Belgian yeast, vanilla, clove, some pepper, caramel, subtle dark fruits and slight spice. Taste of bready malt, dark fruits, clove, some peppery yeast, slight caramel, a little alcohol and subtle spice. Medium to full bodied and soft carbonation. A bittersweet, bready, spicy bitterness in the finish. Strong and sweet to begin and spicy and slightly bitter to end. Big, Belgian flavours of peppery yeast and clove too. Love that I’ve found it on draught, served in its hourglass.
