The beer poured cloudy amber with floaties and a small head, the aroma was spicy, yeasty with citrus notes. The flavor was slightly sweet and fruity with no hops and some caramel, OK. The palate was dry and smooth like velvet with a light carbonation. Overall this is a nice beer with some good qualities, nothing overwhelming or wildly unique.

Gave us a bit weissbier-feeling. Strange. But a very good, malty beer.

Very nice beer, was served in a pub in a Kwak glass (which looks like something from a lab)

Amber in color, malty, sweet, fruity with lots of taste from butterscotch and caramell. Quite typical for this sort of brew. Full pot in appearance due to the funny Kwak-glass everybody loves.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2016 On tap and 0,33l bottle. Clear copper/ruby colour with stiff creamy tan head that disappeares slowly. Aroma: Caramel, fruits, raisin, matured cheese. Quite intense. Taste: Sweet malty start with a ligt sour/bitter mouthfeel. Well balanced. Has some wine-like caracter and warm. Medium/full body, with fizzy carbonation. Medium lasting light sweet/bitter finish. The tapped version is better and smoother than the bottled one.

Sweet dried fruit and comparatively mild caramel malt in the nose. Dark red pour with thick white foam. The caramel malt dominate the taste but the finish is somewhat dry with a strong alcohol aspect. It is a little more mild than most Belgian ales.

Nice, malty aroma and fruity taste. Packs quite an alcoholic kick.

75cl bottle shared in a Kwak glass. Pours an amber colour with a huge white head. Very malty flavours with a nougat like sweetness. Good mouthfeel with a corn-like dryness in the finish. Not a classic but a nice change to the usual heavy Belgians of a similar strength.

Aroma intenso y envolvente. Madera, vainilla, final vinoso y alcoholizado, notas frutales.
