Cork popped and bottle fizzed over but I could catch it in the glass. Dark ruby red appearance with big creamy head that lasted to the end with lacing. Aroma is malty, with candied cherries, wildflowers, nuts, and some earthy minerals. The flavor changes as the beer warms, it is fruity and tart at first but takes on flavors of nutty yeast, sour cherries, tobacco, and caramel. It has a medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, and long, sweet finish. This is a very fine beer that is versatile for serving with many kinds of food. 75cl bottle shared in a Kwak glass. Pours an amber colour with a huge white head. Very malty flavours with a nougat like sweetness. Good mouthfeel with a corn-like dryness in the finish. Not a classic but a nice change to the usual heavy Belgians of a similar strength. emartell (352) - Zapopan, Jalisco, MEXICO - MAY 31, 2012
Aroma intenso y envolvente. Madera, vainilla, final vinoso y alcoholizado, notas frutales.
This beer pours a dark copper color with minimal head and minimal lacing. The aroma contains strong scents of fruits, like most Belgian ales with a slight undertone of alcohol. The taste is very sweet and the fruity taste is very apparent, but it is oddly somewhat sour. Not too sour, but just enough to be different. They do a good job of masking the alcohol in the taste. The mouthfeel is very pleasing as the fruits and sweetness is very clear. Drinkability is not so good on this one because it is so sweet and sour that I can't see myself enjoying more than one. Overall, a very good Belgian beer that I enjoyed profusely.

Nice looking fairly clear Belgian. Head didn’t stick around for long. Lots of great flavor, full palate. Clean tasting. Likeability 5/5 Burgers (344) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 8, 2014
Copper to red with off-white head. Initial taste quite sweet with faint bitterness. Nose of dried fruits, malt and yeast. Sustained soft carbonation. Warming finish. GuillaumeCL (344) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 21, 2012
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear reddish colour with a bit of white head that dissipates quickly. Smell is quite sweet with some banana bread, caramel, and other yeasty smells. Palate is fairly heavy bodied with a nice amount of carbonation, and the mouthfeel is a bit sticky coating the mouth well. Taste is quite nice, a bit hoppy and sweet at first, but the tastes harmonize well and leave a lingering sweetness that’s not cloying. Excellent beer, glad to have some, just wish I had the glass. brewtalita (343) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 28, 2015
deep amber. no head. aroma molasses raisins rum alcohol. palate watery carbed medium. taste brown sugar dried plums brandy. finish surprisingly dry. not bad. too sweet for me. Parmenion777 (342) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 21, 2016 A clear amber colour with a frothy white head. Looks impressive in its customised glass. A grainy malt caramel aroma; a liitle fruit and grass. A sweet malt caramel taste; some dried fruit, woody spiciness and a crisp slightly dry finish.
