Delicious, Served in a black 25 oz bottle. This belgian brew pours a dark amber, the head is a thin lace of tan that sticks to the glass. The smell is orange peels, vanilla, and honey. As I let this beer warm up a little from the fridge more flavors and aromas began to come out. The taste of this beer is smoothe and creamy. It tastes of honey, fruit (banana and grapes), it is sweet but not overwhelming. I definatly recommend this beer. It would pair well with a grilled steak to contrast some of the fruity flavors, as well as a bananas foster to help bring out some of the banana and caramel flavors in the beer.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2010 Bottle. Pours with large light brown head and dark amber color for the body. Body is hazy and lacing is strong. Aromas of flowers, bananas, cherry, and roasted malts. Creamy texture with a nice palate that results in a rather long duration. Sticky finish with a very pleasing aftertaste. Tastes of bananas, cherry, and hints of raisin. Much better bottle than I had the last time I rated this beer, although I had aged this bottle around 2 years. Highly recommend buying a few and putting them away!

Not as richly alcoholic as I might have preferred, yielding to a caramely sweetness that could have used some carbonation to temper it. One dimensional and blah. Perhaps better out of the cool tall Belgian glass.

75 cl Belle couleur orange-rouge-ambre avec mousse abondante. Nez peu dvelopp. Bouche complexe avec des notes de caramel et une bonne amertume. Toujours aussi bonne !

Pours a clear brown with a big white head. Aroma: Nice bready malt. Sweet malt begin, middle is mild and warm alcohol with some hints of cantaloupe. Balances off with nice, mild hop bitter that numbs the tongue a bit. Medium bodied with a slick texture and average carbonation. Overall, a really nice, sweeter amber.

Poured a 75cl several times into a tulip, a style of glass where I too frequently let the foam get way ahead of me, particularly with these Belgians. Once the suds subsided, I discovered another sweet, yeasty, fruity brew, quite delightful. Raisins, Turkish apricots and plums predominate in a complex mix of flavors. Fortunate to drink this at about 50 degrees f., a good temp to bring out the flavors. I certainly wouldnt care to make a night of drinking this, but as a treat, it is admirable.
