Pours a medium amber color. The nose is very spicy with bananas. Comes across the palate very smooth with mild carbonation. The banana shines the most and the spice just lingers forever.

Had this in the Paris area with Mussells served in a White Wine Cream and Yellow Curry Sauce, with French Fries @ http://www.leon-de-bruxelles.fr It is strong, but with great flavor. Enjoy

CanCrusher (1057) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - DEC 27, 2012
Bottle. Bright amber colour, lively carbonation, for a finger big creamy beige head, that slowly sits down into a nice crown. Strong sweet fruits aroma, caramel and resin. Medium to full body, starts with sweet taste, turns on bitter and finish with heavy bitternes, that lasts long. 8% alc. is noticable, but not overhelming. Great beer!

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2015 Keg @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a deep mahogany brown with a proud caramel aroma bursting forth. Taste is much more vibrant than bottle with smooth caramel and a sweet woody warmth. Absolutely magnificent.

Kwak is a well known beer abroad, even if it is more commercialised I still recommend this one because its taste is so great! and the glass that goes with it is so special to drink it with.

Served in a leak glass is almost a life experience. An amazing traditional Belgium beer with a nice strong alcohol taste, everybody should try this as its meant to be served.
