i think this is my first beer from this (new?) brewery in Paw Paw. it’s somewhat unfair for me to say that generally i have lower expectations from new breweries in small towns, but i only mention that so that i don’t color my rating with those expectations. a nice amber color from the 12 oz bottle, with a moderate hops nose and a balanced malt presense. not particularly bitter, but overall this is a well-balanced beer. nicely done, even if it’s not outstanding Aggie80 (832) - Michigan, USA - JUL 17, 2016
Nice orange tea color pour with white head and a little lacing. Strong hops with a crisp finish and satisfying mouthfeel. Bitterness on the tongue after swallowing. mvp (271) - Harper Woods, Michigan, USA - APR 9, 2016
Lemon aroma. Copper color with medium white head. I like the taste but is too lemony to drink at a regular basis. milewide (2332) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 10, 2015
Fine hop blend with enough malt to balance sweetness and provide body. One of the best that I have had from this brewery. lukedarock (246) - Howell, Michigan, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Very good so smooth yet delivers the punch of flavor you would expect from a balanced brew very good

Pours a hazy burnt orange. Fair head. No lacing. Taste is kind of a jumbled mess. A bit too bitter. Not that well balanced. It’s a bit harsh. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - JAN 11, 2015
Bottle. Dark straw color. Smallish bright white head that lasted until the end of the glass. Big lacing. Mild grain aroma. Flavor of citrus bitter, but not a bitter that I particularly enjoyed. Very dry. I’m not a big PA fan. This one seemed to have a lot of bitter without substance behind it. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 23, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours a yellowish amber with two fingers of creamy head. Aroma is fruity and piney. Some biscuit. Nice beer though hopping was a bit harsh on the finish.

Bottle pour. Hazy wheat color. Small, foaming head. Juicy nose. Tropic fruit. Dusty grain. Fresh. Taste pulls back, a little. Pleasant bitterness. Touch of sweetness on finish. Solid. superspak (6212) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - AUG 6, 2014
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly hazy orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, melon, citrus peel, light pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice American pale ale. All around good complexity, balance, and robustness of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
