COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Untamed, unpredictable and full of unforgettable character; that’s a Rustler for you. This IPA’s solid malt base quietly saunters in with a slightly spicy aroma, hints of sweet pine, citrus and apricot tones and American hops for a mildly bitter finish. Rustler is the likable renegade you can’t help rooting for. MALTS 2-Row Crystal Honey Malt Munich HOPS Centennial Chinook Columbus

Well payette brewery is not not on the bottom of my boise brewery lists. That is now that crooked fence is out. This beer should be called their pale ale, and their pale ale an ale. Maybe I have been spoiled by all the other good IPA’s out there, but this one did not make me feel satisfied in the end. Guess Ill be sticking with sockeye and tablerock for the time being.

On tap in Boise Idaho. Clear amber body with a decent head. Well balanced mix of hop dominated flavors. Moderates bitterness. Smooth medium - full body.

Simply an average IPA. Nose was weak and the body was light. Citrus was not balanced with toasted malts.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a cloudy copper with a massive off white head. Aroma of dank alfalfa. Flavors of caramel and tropical fruits. Medium bodied, good carbonation, bitter finish.

Can: Hazy amber-orange with a tall beige head. Caramel malt, sweet, doughy aroma. Creamy, caramel malt, orange-peel, toffee malt, some pineapple in the flavour. Pretty mild....soft fruity and malty. A bit of pine and bready bittering. Pretty nice.

Bottle. Mango, pineapple, caramel malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy dark golden yellow with nice light tan head. Moderately sweet orange/pineapple, caramel malt, and and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Nice fruity flavor but hops a bit subdued.

Can from The Beer Junction, Seattle
Hazy golden color, small head. Some cereal aroma and flavor, slightly stale, makes me think this is not so fresh; correct bitterness, there is a bit of resiny hops, no much fruits.
Probably old, not too good.

Draft - Sweet caramel and orange. Clear gold with a decent white head. Cardboard and earthy notes with a bitter bad finish.

12 oz can, thanks Poisoneddwarf- Pours hazy golden orange with a large white head that holds nicely. Aroma is sweet, malt, grassy hops, light and subdued. Taste is raw malt, some caramel, grassy hops, bready, medium bitterness. Solid beer, a bit simplistic, but nothing wrong with that.

12 oz. can- Pours very hazy for an IPA, it has an orange color and two finger white head. The aroma is resinous piney hops, citrusy, sweet light sticky malt. The taste is balanced, but the hops really resonate, pine resin, citrusy, sweet malt, but a little more sticky and syrupy than I usually prefer. All things considered I really liked this beer, cool can too.

12 oz can poured. Pours a clear copper color with a ton of lasting foam head and lace. Piney hop aroma from a distance. Bright, semi sweet hoppy flavor with a low bitter finish. Overall a tasty IPA. Well done for sure.
