COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Payette Pale Ale is a beer made for the mountain, the river and the local pub. Brewed as an American Pale Ale that is heavy on the hops, the Pale comes through with a touch of caramel sweetness to balance out the hop bitterness. Floral notes dominate the nose, with grapefruit and orange aromas present in the background. After a long day shredding on the mountain or floating the river, kick back and enjoy this fully flavored session beer.

Shared 12 oz. cans poured to snifters showing a fairly clear, orangey gold color, with a modest but stable layer of off white head foam, and spots of lacing. The nose was malty, with caramel, and a candy-like sweetness. Light to medium bodied, with good carbonation, and texture that thinned a bit and became a little watery, the taste included moderate earthy & rind-like bitterness. An okay offering.

Very nice pale ale for a can. No off mettalic taste or odd flavors, just an easy drinking appropriately hoppy PA.

This is a good pale ale plenty of flavor not overly hoppy easy to drink would recommend.

Poured from a can. Slightly hazy dark yellow with a thin, white head. Mild bread and hop aroma. Flavor is closer to a light amber than a pale ale. Has a bit of a home brew flavor. I wouldn’t buy it again.

12 oz can- Pours hazy dark golden with a decent head. Aroma is hops and light caramel malt. Taste is caramel malt, dry hopyness. Light on the palate, fairly low carbonation. Easy drinking, a bit too balanced for my tastes though.

Can sample at a tasting at Troubles’ place. Thanks Denny. Hazy gold with white wave. Hoppy, fruity aroma of melon. Mild bitterness, that becomes a bit more biting in the next sip. Light body, fruity bitter finish.

Can sample at a tasting at Dror’s place. Thanks Denny. Hay golden with a white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma - "green", dank, weedy and citric. Rather dry flavor with "green" weedy hops, slightly citric, and nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Nice and fresh.
