Bottle… Cloudy yellow ale with a small, fizzy, short-lived, white head. The nose presents heavy clove, peppery hops and a lightly smoky phenol. Medium-bodied with middling carbonation. The flavor is of pale grain and pear sweetness balanced nicely by spicy hop bitterness. Big clove phenol here as well. Finishes crisp, mildly sweet and lightly grainy. Bottle courtesy of pespsican! UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle. Pale orangish pour with no head. Nice aroma of sugars, yeast, and slight banana. Taste is a bit blander than that. Just so-so. cubs (10677) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 28, 2012
Bottle @ Dan’s house. Clear, golden appearance with a white head. Fairly spicy yeasty, light lemon citrusy, fresh bready aroma. Sweet, lemon, apricot citrusy, spicy, biscuit flavor. Ok fat ale- I need to try more fat ales in the future! marcus (10476) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Bottle shared by oRos. Pours clear blonde with a modest off-white head and a fruit and yeast aroma. There is a slightly sour light malt flavor with a banana finish. arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 28, 2012
Pour out of bottle, thanks Aaron! Hazy yellow pour with thin white head, aroma of lemon, biscuit, slight pear and grape, touch of earth note in there as well. Taste is a nice biscuit, caramel, slight lemon with rich yeast, touch of earth and more bready notes, finishing fairly sweet but slightly dry. Pretty nice.

Stubby little 12 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. The aroma is lemons, some dry yeasts, and something akin to overripe rotting fruit. A smooth flavor of lemons, dry Belgian malts, not hot despite a higher ABV. Decent. A nice effort. blipp (9502) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Light pale and grainy malts, fruity/peachy sweetness, and light spicy yeast. Not bad. drowland (8888) - Georgia, USA - MAY 4, 2011
5/2/11. 12oz bottle courtesy ekoerper. Hazy orange pour with a big off-white head that fades fast and doesn’t last. Dry, yeasty aroma with a hint of alcohol. Better on the flavor with esters, bread, yeast, and more. Not bad! Sledutah (7761) - Utah, USA - MAY 14, 2011

Appearance: Pours hazy golden with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Lemon, fruity, yeasty and some sulpher
Taste: Light malts, yeast, spices and lemon
OK, the alcohol is well hidden.
4 oz. draft at Iowa TapRoom, Des Moines, IA. Maybe this keg sat awhile, flavors really married well. Smell of citrus, light spice. Taste is a moderate banana, black pepper, with a light vanilla in the finish. Alcohol is totally masked, smooth, easy to drink. Awesome yeast flavors. Medium in body. High drinkability for such a larger brew. Really liked it.
