Draft at Shorts Burger & Shine. Poured a hazy yellow-light orange color with a white head. Very fragrant. I smelled it from across the table without bringing up to my nose. Lots of banana, cereal grain, and a squeeze of lemon. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet with a bit of citrus-type acidity. Moderate carbonation. The flavor profile followed the aroma; banana, lemon zest, and mixed cereal grains. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 19, 2010
On tap at peace tree. Cloudy flaxen color. Nice initial large head with great retention. Initial sulphorous yeasty aroma that gives way to a very blegian lemony scent. Palate is slightly fizzy. The hops provide a nice medium citrus bitterness throughout. Key lime finish. Quite good. jcnielsen (3403) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 11, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 15, 2013 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with nice white head. Hay, yeast, light citrus and clove aromas. Bready, yeasty, citrusy lemon, spicy, and slight alcohol flavors. Honestly, when I picked this beer up, I was thinking that it was a golden/blonde ale, so I was a little surprised when it came up as a belgian strong ale.6/4/6/4/13. Re-rated at randomgarbage’s wedding. 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 9, 2011
Pours to a hazy glowing amber golden body with a crisp clean white head. The beer has a vibrancy that’s really nice. The aroma is pineapple, yeasty bananas, light cloves, with a light clean fruity hop aroma. The flavor is yeasty bready malts with a pineapple, cloves, and plantains. Almost like a citrus hop in there. The palate is medium bodied and pretty carbonated. Subtle alcohol warming. Pretty good velvety texture with a long sweet finish. Bottle. Old vegetale dough, wet grass, bread. Not exactly my cup of tea. Imperial blonde ale spiked with budweiser.

Bottle shared by MrPickles...thanks Andy! - Pours light cloudy amber with next to no head. Dusty yeast, light tropical fruitiness, medium pale malt, and light spicing. Taste is sticky sweet and fruity, with a bit of oniony dankness and a sharp, boozy, oaky finish. Slick and sticky body. auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - JUN 15, 2013
12oz Bottle, purchased at Warehouse Liquors - Duluth, MN. My first Iowa tick! Warm banana, spice, and cooked fruit aroma. Clean. Flavors are good. Light sweetness, good mineral profile, light clove and herb presence. Dry. A little on the rubbery side of the Belgian phenols for me, but this isn’t bad. Glad I got the chance to try it. $3 bottle in mixed pack from the brewery, July 2011. This one poured a much more behaved head than the previous bottled Peace Trees. Just bubbles up and dwindles quickly, like a Belgian fizzy beer. Yellow with a golden center, bit of haze from the yeast from the bottle. Slightly sweet, but more malty in the nose. Taste is again a little sugary, but there’s some German hops there for an attempt at balance. Slightly yeasty aftertaste. A small note of horseblanket hop and yeast character. Golden blonde with small white head. Aroma contains some apricots, booze, and lemons. Flavor is a bit sweet and boozy. Overall a pretty good triple. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - NOV 14, 2012
12oz bottle thanks to pepsiedcan, thanks Andy! Pours a hazy yellowish gold with a thin white head, aroma is of subtle fruit with a little bit of yeast and spice, the flavor has a nice earthy front end with some barnyard notes in the finish, kind of musty, the abv is tasted just a tad but is pretty well hidden, decent.
