COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an unfiltered Belgian Style Blonde Ale. The beer is blonde in color from the pale malted barley varieties. It is delicately hopped with Styrian Golding and Celeia for medium bitterness and aroma. Sugars are added for higher attenuation, following the practices of some Belgian brewers. Belgian ale yeast is used to add complex flavor esters. This beer is unfiltered and yeast is left in for additional conditioning. The beer is named Fatale because it is 8.5% alcohol by volume and will catch up with you if you’re not careful.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2013 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with nice white head. Hay, yeast, light citrus and clove aromas. Bready, yeasty, citrusy lemon, spicy, and slight alcohol flavors. Honestly, when I picked this beer up, I was thinking that it was a golden/blonde ale, so I was a little surprised when it came up as a belgian strong ale.6/4/6/4/13. Re-rated at randomgarbage’s wedding.

12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee in Muscatine. Orange and slight hazy appearance with a small beige head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum, clove, light fruity esters, pale malts, Belgian yeast and light hops. Similar flavor, mild to moderately sweet and lightly bitter with a lingering finish. Medium body, pretty easy to drink for the ABV. I enjoyed it slightly more on tap.

Tap at zombie burger. Jazzy yellow orange nose is bubblegum and biscuits. Tastes of bubblegum, pineapple, cloves, yeasty. Fine palate. Alright but missing something I can’t figure

Golden blonde with small white head. Aroma contains some apricots, booze, and lemons. Flavor is a bit sweet and boozy. Overall a pretty good triple.

Prominent banana nose with a more subtle flavor profile, suggestions of a good Belgian. Rich body, obviously benefiting from the abv, which offers a nice counterbalance in the effervescence and tingle. Interesting. (on tap at Newbo market, Cedar Rapids, IA)

5/2/11. 12oz bottle courtesy ekoerper. Hazy orange pour with a big off-white head that fades fast and doesn’t last. Dry, yeasty aroma with a hint of alcohol. Better on the flavor with esters, bread, yeast, and more. Not bad!

Bottle shared by Doug, thanks
Appearance: Pours hazy golden with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Lemon, fruity, yeasty and some sulpher

OK, the alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle from the extremely awesome CanIHave4Beers. Pours deep, clear golden with a fleeting white head. Nose is grainy and boozy; some banana and lemon zest, as well as some honey. Sweet bread. Taste adds some floral and grassy hop notes. Palate is a bit prickly.
