No Coast is a big American IPA with tons of bitterness and loads of hop flavor. A variety of pale malts are used to give this beer a nice golden color and let the Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe hops shine through with big piney and citrus notes. Coming in at 95 IBUs, this beer is sure to show there’s more to beer than just a coast.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2017 Tap at brewery in des moines during glbtq. Gold with medium white head and effervescent look. Smells like spent grain and hop in a brewery. Tastes of grain and mild bitterness. Relatively thin. Was ok.

Bottled sample at PF Changes in Des moines. Great beer and loved the stubby colourful bottle. Going to brewery tonight

Bottle - average size foamy head, dark gold color, definite big citrus and pine hop aroma and flavor, moderate malt backbone, fairly dank finish, very good overall

Bottle. A- Mango, papaya, guava, peach, tropical fruits, caramel, pine. A- Orange color, clear liquid, white head. T- Caramel, pine, bitter, subtle tropical fruits. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- At first the aroma is of great tropical fruits that quickly fades with the head and turns caramel like. The taste is fairly bitter and plenty of caramel malt and pine with much less fruit. Pretty good. Might be great when super fresh.

Bottle. It’s not easy to say that a big, hoppy IPA has "balance," and I may be easy of the mark in using the word here, but this is one of my better experiences with a highly hopped beer. Main nose is of straight resin, no matching floral pine to my olfactory. And lots of hop Browns is promised to those who dive in further. Amber to copper beer body under a slightly puffy, proper IPA head. First taste is an assault with bitter hops, though a bit of pine and citrus now make themselves heard. I feel every not of tips 96 IBU’s, but it’s more pleasant than puckery. Nicely complemented by a chewy and sweet frame of malt.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2015 Color a hazed slightly rusty orange. Aroma is a sweet buisciity malt. Seems Hoppy but intense aromatic malt mabybe dominates. Taste is full malt sweet candy fruit hops. Citrusy hop bitter with pine linger.Nice if you like sweet malty hoppy ipas. Good IPA on the the sweet side.
