12oz. bottle. Malty, fruity and lightly sweet aroma, with notes of pear, apple, toast, faint toffee and caramel and a touch of hop citrus. Hazy medium amber in color with a ridiculously foamy head and a decent amount of sediment which I chose to leave in the bottle. Flavor profile is sweet and fruity, with touches of apple, brown sugar, lightly spicy, citric hop and a light dosage of bitterness appearing towards the finish. Light and active on the palate with a decent amount of carbonation and a light-medium body. Yep, it’s an Amber.
Aroma - biscuit batter, some caramel, mild hops.
Appearance - the body is a hazy amber, with very fine sediment. There is good nucleation. The head is 1 3/4" and beige.
Taste - the has combination of malts - some caramel and some biscuit. Hops are mild, feel like East Kent Goldings - very session UK beer natured. There is a mineral quality to this as well. Slightly sweet, but mostly tannic.
Palate - on the lighter side of medium body, texture is a little thin, the carbonation is soft, the finish is tannic. gregwilsonstl (2452) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 8, 2016
Amber brown. Medium head. Sweet caramel. Malty. Nutty. Pecan’ish. A rather expensive "gift" from David! edgallow (4146) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 19, 2015
12 oz bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of grains, caramel and some citrus. Taste is malty and sweet. Travlr (24274) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 10, 2015
Draft. Clear amber color, tan head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Taste is mostly caramel malt. Austin_Ripper (66) - Iowa, USA - JUL 9, 2015
Deep amber color. Smells like carmel, roasted grains, along with some of the hops. Taste is a mild bitterness followed by a mild biscuit taste. Nothing that really stands out about this one. Not great, but not bad.

12 oz via bottle at Mickey’s in Des Moines. Light to mild hop bitterness and mild malt sweetness with light notes of caramel, toffee and toasted grains. Light to medium body, pretty clean and easy to drink. Not bad. MadShaolin (100) - - APR 23, 2015
Like a scotch ale with some substantial hopping. Cola, licorice, burnt sugar - these big flavors are balanced out by the hops. Good beer to start off with

On draft at Old Chicago. Pours a reddish-amber with minimal head. Aroma of malt, some hops. Flavor was very sweet, lots of malt, not a whole lot to really distinguish it. Not terrible, either. Went well with my calzone. johnnnniee (4236) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Bottle from MrBarleywine, thanks for the opportunity!
Pours a reddish amber color with a decent sized off white head that slowly dissipates. Aromas of caramel, toffee, earth, light brown sugar and fruits. Somewhat grassy aroma as well. Carmel and toffee with light fruitiness dominate the flavor. 35 IBU’s but I can’t find any flavor from them. Medium body light to moderate carbonation. Not horrible, but not great either. pschulz93 (8) - Torrance, California, USA - JUL 16, 2014 does not count
Shared bottle. Drinkable but certainly not memorable. Decent Amber beer not really red in color. Malty and a little sweet. Will not be seeking this one out again in the future. Probably better on tap at the brewery as a first beer of the day.
