Stoops Chesterfield, Tawny with hints of caramel, quite bitter on the palate with a slightly nutty aftertaste. I really wanted to like thi so it was off to a good start, but by the end of my second pint I was looking at the other beers on offer. There,s nothing particularly wrong with it,just a tad bland and ordinary. A missed opportunity. Tastes better with a packet of mini cheddars!.

Tasty bitter beer with good bitterness, very pleasant some vanilla also showing, some citrusy streaks also. Really good beer in a very good pub. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6
