Bottle in NYC with Chris. Pours clear garnet with a small, white head. Crystal malt aroma, bit of caramel and light earthy hops. Nice balance in the flavor, subtle hop bitterness, grass, toast and mild brown sugar. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mild sweet finish, toasty malts, light grass. Very easy drinking and very pleasant.

On tap @ Southpaw BBQ. Copper pour with a white head. Aroma is onion, garlic, and pine. Some sweet toasted bread, caramel, and nuts, too. A touch of soap. Flavor is sweet up front with a rather strong bitterness on the finish. Lots of onion and pine. Toast, caramel, and nuts. Light orange peel. Not a fan.

bhensonb (15607) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 9, 2011
Bottle from Whole Foods in Petaluma. Pours amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is something like a mandarin. Near full body. Flavor is mandarin with some roast malt. Overall this is bitter and hoppy enough to stand up to some IPAs. Finishes like a clementine.

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a soft beer.

phaleslu (10547) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2016
12 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99- thanks again, Tom! Pours a clear orange color with a light hue and a small off-white head that settles into a ring and some spots of lace. The hops are more leafy than citrusy here, with earth, pale and lightly toasty malts, grass, and florals. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a clean, moderately bitter mouthfeel. Nice and easy drinking, but not with a ton of substance.

GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 27, 2012
Tap at Vienna WF. Clear amber pour. Huge 360 lacing. Nose is hefty diacetyl. Taste is light tea, sugar, diet cola, with pretty obvious diacetyl. Minerally, over carbonated mouthfeel. Diacetyl giving faux body. Pretty messy but not offensive. Palate is not astringent or papery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
