Nice roasted malt smell within resin and grapefruit scent at the end. Black as hell which is what I look for in a black IPA. Reach deep aromatic body semi-sweet dark chocolate and roasted malts light brown sugar in between. Medium body medium crisp carbonation. One of the best black ipas I’ve ever had loves all maine black ipas. Love that your organic and all the flavors you bring with all your hard will have more ratings. Great work! 60minuteman (1765) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2016
Dark pour with a little bit of head and lace. Lots of dark notes here, roast, coffee, malt, oak, earth, dirt and hop. Its not bitter but essentially acidic hoppness that creates this potent black IPA. Dark whole bean coffee mainly comes through. Pretty tasty. Neorej80 (498) - - APR 9, 2016
Nice zweet, liquorice and citruslike aroma. Nice black colour, almost white head. Flavours include earthy coffee, brown sigaretten, bitter citrus, a bit dry dark malts. Liquorice, bitter aftertaste. Great! madmitch76 (25537) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2016

Almost opaque dark amber - brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy, fairly dry and has good fine carbonation. Thin dark malts but with a fair bit of roast bitterness. Touch of dark chocolate. Mellow hop skunk and smooth pine. Finishes light and roasty bitter. Not bad, tad malt led.
35cl Bottle from Vonk. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of brown malts, roasted malts, leather, light smoke, leaves, tea, fruits. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, grapefruit, light leather, smoke, nuts, tea, hoppy bitter finish with some leather. Medium bodied at best. OK.

Dark brown, stable beige head, nice. Crusty whole wheat bread, oatmeal, moderate English hops. Taste is much more expressive. Nice proper bitterness. Very much my kind of beer, even though my nose doesn’t quite catch all aromas right now. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière) hershiser2 (3663) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - MAR 17, 2016
Bomber, Trader Joe’s. $4.99 or $5.99, can’t remember.
Pours dark brown with a large light brown head. Aroma of pine, caramel, citrus, pineapple.
Taste is bitter pine and sweet caramel up front, followed by some citrus and then more sweet caramel. Light coffee in there too, but not strong. Tasty! tricksta_p (5112) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - MAR 13, 2016
Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, coffee, roast, fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, a bit weaker than I would expect from the abv. Otherwise a nice Black IPA on the roasty coffee side of the style. Idiosynkrasie (7952) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 7, 2016
355ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with ruby red glimmer and average to huge, frothy to macropore, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Piney hoppy aroma, notes of spruce, coniferes in general, hints of woody pineapple, roasty dark malty background. Taste is bitter hoppy, piney, hints of spruce, pineapple, a minimally metallic touch, weak, roasty dark malty basis. g_georgiou (600) - CYPRUS - FEB 26, 2016
Dark black body with a thin brown head. Aroma is licorice, roasted. Taste is sweet and medium bitter. Aftertaste is a bit ashy.
