Bomber from the Folsom Whole Foods. Pours dark ruddy copper/amber with a creamy beige head. Which did a very slight ring lace eventually. Aromas of mixed citrus/floral/pine hop over a pretty roasted malt backbone. Full bodied. Flavor is a bit indecipherable, it’s almost like chocolate and pine. With some moderately darkish fruits. Somewhat challenging. But it’s hoppy as heck, has lots of structure, and makes my mouth writhe in ecstasy. Sorta kinda. It finishes bitter and arguably dry. Also arguably not dry. This is a beer which has been so gifted with ingredients that it cannot fail to be brilliant. Ratman197 (15208) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 28, 2012
