12oz bottle to cervoise. Pours brown with beige soda head. Aroma is scarce with the tiniest bit of nut, biscuit and raisin. Taste is astringent citrus bitter with nut malt backbone and some unsweetened cocoa. Meh. neepsntatties (1988) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 13, 2015
Bottle. Colour...amber with a thick white head. Nose...Malt-o-Meal, Ralston cereal and biscuits. Palate...quite malty and biscuity with cereal, spent grain, and a dry finish. Christpuncher (3112) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2015
Meh. Just an average beer at best. Slightly nitty with some roasted malt notes. Pours brown with a thin tan head. Had out of a bottle from home from a beer of the month club. Terrible choice dudes Fashawn (601) - ITALY - OCT 8, 2015
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep amber-lighter brown color with a brown tinted head of one finger height. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a lighter level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heaviest of a molasses and brown sugar smell mixed with a nice roasty bread and toasted nut smell. With a little bit of a light fruit smell working its way in as well, one is left with an overall very pleasant and sweet smell.
Taste- The taste begins with a caramel and molasses taste with a little bit of a roasted malt upfront. As the taste advances the sweet fades a little bit, but is replaced by more and more roast, with some toasted nut flavors joining the taste as well. The loss of the sweet and increase in the roast and toasted nut brings a little bit of a bitterness to the taste, and with some light grassy and herbal hop also joining the tongue at the end, one is left with a somewhat more bitter and slightly roasty and sweet flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel-The body of the brew is on the slightly thinner side while the carbonation that is rather average. A little thicker of a body may have been slightly better for the roasted and sweet flavors of the brew, but even with that said, the feel was rather decent overall.
Overall – An alright roasty, somewhat bitter, and slightly nutty brew overall with a bit of sweetness which fades toward the end. While fairly easy drinking, it is not anything to call home about. Overall a good brew to try, but nothing to anticipate anything great from.

Pours a dark brown color with a caramel head. Mild aroma. Tastes reminiscent of bread, nuts, and malt. Very nice smooth mouth feel. Not very heavy. Overall, quite nice. Foxbush (2028) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 26, 2015
12 oz bottle from AOPD monthly beers The ale poured a clear very dark amber to brown. A nice looking ale with a very small head. The aroma of sweet caramel malts greet you. The ale lacks some body but has a pleasant taste. The light body brown ale has soft carbonation. A drinkable ale but with some deficiencies as noted. The finish was dry with some metallic notes. kto (1307) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 21, 2015

Bottle. Pours clear reddish hazel, medium tan head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is malty, nutty, bready, hint of grass, light smoke. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter, nutty, malty, grassy. Light plus body, a bit acidic, but otherwise a middle of the road example of a middle of the road style.
