Pours a reddish brown with an off white head. A nutty malt aroma. Flavors of caramel and malt.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish hazel, medium tan head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is malty, nutty, bready, hint of grass, light smoke. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter, nutty, malty, grassy. Light plus body, a bit acidic, but otherwise a middle of the road example of a middle of the road style.

Not much aroma but a good nutty caramelized sugar flavor. Enjoyed in the bottle at my brothers house.

Oscbert (1339) - Lincoln, California, USA - APR 21, 2015
Sweet malty aroma of bread, caramel, nuttiness, earthy hop Pours a clear light brown with small frothy off white head Bready sweet and slightly tart flavor with caramel and nuttiness. Medium light bodied with medium low co2, smooth silky feel, nutty finish Easy drinking enjoyable brew. Well balanced and interesting enough to make me want to drink more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a finger of head on a clear brown body. The aroma is dry hay, barnyard and grain. The taste at first nutty, toasted malt, then finishes with a sharper bitterness. The texture is crisp and fizzy. The taste finishes weird and the texture was too thin.

Pours brown from a bottle, aroma is caramelized brown sugar, flavor is roasted coffee, some bitter nuts. Okay beer.

radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 5, 2015
Bottle. Poured a clear ruby brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some sweet nutty notes. Light malt, nuts. Light, inoffensive, but a bit watery. Light toasted notes, light toffee.

tekstr1der (507) - New Hampshire, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Dark brown pour with thin tan head, color is excellent. Smell is mild malt and slightly nutty. Taste is also a bit underwhelming with a sweetness that quickly fades to a clean nut finish. Only real nit is it seems a bit overcarbonated. Otherwise very drinkable in quantity!

2.5
Jesterdeal (1986) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Bottle shared at Bob’s. Aroma is malty malt malt with just a hint of cellar and dirt. Pours dull brown with a decent white head. Taste is more dirt and maltness. No real nut taste or dark fruits. Really one dimmensional and not that tasty. Wasn’t a huge fan.

3.2
gnoff (11145) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 27, 2014
Bottle at Bishops Arms Järntorget, on October 26, 2014. During "Porterveckan 2014".
BB Sep 14 if I read the label correct.
Hazy brown color, small teal head. Malty, sweet, light fruit, orange zest scent. Malty, fresh, light bitter taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
