330ml bottle provided by djoeye. Deep nut brown body, low beige head, dotted spots on the glassware. Moderate brown malty nose, dry. Taste of nuts, caramel and earth. Mid-dry malt-driven endnotes. Easy to drink. Fair enough. (Backlog, Tromsø 02.08.2017).

Aroma; prunes, caramel, honey, toffee, nuts. Look; off white film, red brown clear body. Taste; prunes, roasted malts, honey, nuts n caramel - rusty finish. Feel; ok body, premium co2. Overall; too sweet for food, but alright sipper. [[email protected] H7 Tromsö 2017July20 5353'12]

Pours a root beer color with a thin white head which is gone in an instant......aroma is caramel, tea......taste is touch of caramel, burnt taste, nut shell and a bit thin with a bitter aftertaste.

This nut brown poured just that, nice deep amber colour with a creamy light tan coloured head. Minimal lacing. Scents include light caramel, club soda and a little roast. First swig was quite thin on the mouthfeel, with flavours of very light caramel and bleach? Finish is almost salty with a little hop flavour/bitterness lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at Cask and Vine yesterday. Somewhat hazy light brown color with a decent sized tan head. Caramel butterscotch and light earthy hops with just a touch of nuttiness. Surprised I hadn’t had this before, its not too bad.

I am just getting into drinking different styles of beer and moving beyond the mass produced brand names. This was lighter than I expected but this was smooth, easy to drink and had a good taste. As a style, I guess I was expecting a more robust taste from a Nut Brown Ale, but, again, it was good.

Appearance: pours with a large light tan head, the beer is a very clear and attractive brown color Aroma: brown sugar, nuts Taste: has toasty dark malt sweetness, not a strong sweetness but it's there, nutty, possibly brown sugar, grainy finish Palate: light mouthfeel, average carbonation, nutty aftertaste Overall: a light and easy drinking brown ale, has a very subtle sweetness and no bitterness to speak of, not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced fair lacing. Light to moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a soft drinkable beer.
