3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From a bottle. A clear medium brown body with a bone color head. Head had great retention and decent lace. Aroma had a nice balance of mildly sweet caramel malts and a slight roasted quality. A gentle nutty aroma and there was a slightly off putting medicinal aroma. Flavor was well balanced with a nice sweet malt flavors and a mild nutty flavor. No real hops. Although the beer seemed two-dimensional it was still enjoyable. Easy to drink and would make a great session ale.
330ml bottle provided by djoeye. Deep nut brown body, low beige head, dotted spots on the glassware. Moderate brown malty nose, dry. Taste of nuts, caramel and earth. Mid-dry malt-driven endnotes. Easy to drink. Fair enough. (Backlog, Tromsø 02.08.2017). djoeye (5343) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2017

KØLF 240217. Brown color with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, malt, hop. Flavor is caramel, malt, hop, bread, nuts. Medium body. OK beer. Tessic (1249) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 22, 2016
This nut brown poured just that, nice deep amber colour with a creamy light tan coloured head. Minimal lacing. Scents include light caramel, club soda and a little roast. First swig was quite thin on the mouthfeel, with flavours of very light caramel and bleach? Finish is almost salty with a little hop flavour/bitterness lingering.

Cask at Cask and Vine yesterday.
Somewhat hazy light brown color with a decent sized tan head. Caramel butterscotch and light earthy hops with just a touch of nuttiness. Surprised I hadn’t had this before, its not too bad. VastActiv (7734) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 9, 2016
Tap at Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki. Colour is clear light brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, nuts and malts. SONOFWODEN (77) - New York, USA - MAR 6, 2016
I am just getting into drinking different styles of beer and moving beyond the mass produced brand names. This was lighter than I expected but this was smooth, easy to drink and had a good taste. As a style, I guess I was expecting a more robust taste from a Nut Brown Ale, but, again, it was good. airrick2003 (872) - Louisiana, USA - JAN 22, 2016
Appearance: pours with a large light tan head, the beer is a very clear and attractive brown color
Aroma: brown sugar, nuts
Taste: has toasty dark malt sweetness, not a strong sweetness but it's there, nutty, possibly brown sugar, grainy finish
Palate: light mouthfeel, average carbonation, nutty aftertaste
Overall: a light and easy drinking brown ale, has a very subtle sweetness and no bitterness to speak of, not bad

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced fair lacing. Light to moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a soft drinkable beer.
