12oz bottle shared by argo0: Pours a clear deep golden with a thin wispy white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with some floral fruity notes and grassy hops. Starts with a thin lightly effervescent body and sweet sugary character with a touch of tart pomegranate juice before a dull finish. Pretty bland overall.

Slightly hazy gold with a thin white head; clingy medium body with high carbonation.

Aroma: tart wheat, bright fruity berries, pale malt, and a bit of funky chicken coop character.

Taste: tart wheat, sourness, sweet cereal-like pale malt, some berry character, and a faint chicken coop note.

355mL. The pour is a clear straw with a decent, white head. Nose is concord grape jam, Welch’s grape juice, butter. Taste is sweet concord grape juice with a hefty dose of butter. Tart palate moving to more diacetyl. Pretty straightforward brewing flaw.

Well, its about what you’d expect. Light bodied, a little wheaty, with strong fruity overtones. However, there was at least an interesting tartness to the fruit that was kind of funky, and if you used your imagination, you could almost think you had an unblended lambic in your hands. Not a very good one, but still. Near straw color. Side note: why does the commercial description make such a big deal about the acai addition, but the beer is named only after the pomegranate?

[3686-20110416] 12floz bottle. Light wheat apple fruit aroma has some soft bread dough notes. Slightly hazy, light brown orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Fruity bread yeast flavour has a nice light long-lasting sweetness. Medium body. Interesting to sample but not to my tastes, better cold. (6/3/6-/3/11) 2.8

i kind of wish it has more of that pomegranate twang, but then i think it would be too syrupy. as it is, its not bad, but as with all these fruity wheats its light and in the end kind of bland compared to say a wit or hefe.
