12oz bottle pours copper in color with semi loose white head. The aroma offers up spicy hops, tangelo like citrus hops and a touch of grapefruit. The taste is similar with spicy hops, floral hops and a moderate hop bitterness that intermingles with lesser amounts of citrus hops. Toward midway and into the finish the flavor hoppiness and mild malt sweetness fade and leave a lingering bitter hoppiness. The body is on the thin sessionable side which certainly works well for this session beer. ucusty (2691) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 28, 2011
Clear amber pour with a fluffy white head and some lace. Aroma is pine and caramel, flavor follows suite. Meh glennmastrange (2871) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUL 15, 2011
Bottle. Light to moderate aromas of roasted for the malt, pine and grapefruit peel for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with hints of wood and pepper. Head is average size, frothy turning creamy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, watery with a lively carbonation. Damn, this smells good. Like an East Coast IPA. Unfortunately the flavor doesn’t quite keep up. IPAsavedMYlife (346) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2011
Nice golden hazy color with slightly orange head. Major hoppage on the nostrils. Fresh cut grass, some orange peel, apricot in the background. Head dissipated fairly quickly. Taste has plenty of Simcoe hops, which ovbiously is their focal point here. Unfortunately, like popcorn, in the taste is weaker than the smell. Taste reveals some seltzer component that just is off putting. Hardly no malt sweetness at all. Finish is a mild bitterness that slightly undertones the poor quality here. Good but not great. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUN 22, 2011
Draft @ Capone’s. Golden yellow pour with tan head. Pine and citrus, hop aromas. Earthy, and grassy almost dank and pine flavors.

Sweet stong hop aroma. Hazy orange color with a large white head. Mild sweet and slightly bitter beginning that fades in the finish. Light palate. Boliv (1150) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 28, 2011
Bottle notched "best by 8.11." Pours hazy and bright orange with a 2-finger rocky beige head. Aromas of spicy, sweet pine, citrus peel, and sweet caramel malt and dough. The flavor is sweet pine, a little spicy and mildly bitter, with some tropical fruit in the finish. Thin body. This was good, but the flavor fell a bit flat for me, and the body detracted as well. stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 27, 2011
Floral, citrus aroma. Nice. Clean, refreshing taste... simcoe hops are strong without being overly bitter. Good summer pale. Some malt backbone. On tap at town docks in new hampshire. 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 23, 2011
6 pack that seemed to disappear from my fridge. Pretty sessionable, not the cleanest simcoe taste, but for the price is was refreshing and easy to drink. DocLock (10706) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 23, 2011
6er from Food Town in Lansdale. Pours dark straw toward orange with off-white head. Nose is sweet caramel malt, mangoey fruit, peppery florals. Tastes crisp, with a subdued but pleasant Simcoe note, florals, caramel malt, and tropical mangoey and tangerine notes.
