Aroma fresh clean hop aroma, sweet base, hint of mango and lime. Caramel candy as base. 7+
Appearance clear amber with large frothy , slightly tanned top. Some lace shown. 4-
Flavor and Palate : Medium light bodied. Frontal clean straight ale. Sweet sided malt bottom, caramel with hop citrus, lavender and mango. Easy going.
Nice floral aroma. Pours a clear copper with a nice pillowy white head. Flavor is light, slightly bitter. The beer is fairly flavorless, but a decent session beer. HughConway (831) - Washington, USA - MAY 2, 2011
Bottle. Amber orange, decent head. Strong aroma of Simcoe’s, taste of malt with hop bitter. Nice sessioner. puboflyons (3446) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - APR 30, 2011
From a bottle with an expiration date of August 2011. Pours copper-amber and cloudy with a generous foamy, long lasting head. Lots of pine and floral hops in the aroma with a more muted maltiness. The body is about medium. The taste is well-bittered with those Simcoe hops bringing out a fresh, citrus-like flavor in the end. blankboy (7714) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 29, 2011
Bottle [12oz]. Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange, quite bubbly, and with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. Nice aroma of strawberries, piney hops, citrus fruit, sweet malt and some herbal notes -- quite lovely. Flavour of sweet malt, piney hops, some fruit, herbs and
a pleasant dry bitter finish -- refreshing and tasty. Average bodied. I love Simcoe hops and beers that use them and this one is no exception -- a nice surprise and a joy to drink, well done.

Had a few of these with matt. great flavor, fresh juicy piney simcoe. An ultra sessionable ale. I’m a simcoe nut so this beer really rocked. radagast83 (8137) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 26, 2011
12oz bottle. Poured a copper color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was grassy, with notes of floral and earthy hops. Flavor was pine, notes of herbs. A pretty good beer, though I’m a huge fan of Simcoe, so... JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - APR 24, 2011
12oz bottle from the Carrboro Bottle Shop. Deep orange pour, with a medium crisp carbonation. Nice fresh hoppy nose, Simcoe sweet with a bit of pine backing it up. Body suffers a bit though, as it gets a bit watery and faded towards the end. Bright hops certainly dominate in this very fresh beer, with malts faintly detectable. Trace of honey, trace of pine. Nice stuff. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - APR 21, 2011
Bottle. Slightly hazy orange with a steady, nice looking white head that is retained throughout. Nose is akin to simcoe hop juice, with just a tad bit of the house diacetyl that becomes more noticeable as the beer warms. Pretty dry flavor, hops are there but not too over the top. Lightly bitter, waxy finish. Not terrible, especially considering where it is made. Zaprozdower (66) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - APR 20, 2011
Pours a light copper color with a full head with pretty heavy lacing. Flavor profile is clean as advertised; malt is subdued and showcases the Simcoe, normally an IPA or DIPA kind of hop. It does well with this style without overwhelming as could be the case.
