Bottle @ Goodbar Beer Club. Gold, white head. Nose is strawberries in a pine forest, orange, lemon, citrus greatness. Flavor is tangerine/tropical fruit, slid orange bitterness. This is all about the hops & does a wonderful job showcasing them. jw0406 (1315) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - APR 16, 2011

12oz twist-off bottle. Gold color. Thick body. Skunk weed aroma. Loads of dry-hopped scent. Pale malts. Caramel malt. Bitter hops. Very floral. cazort (568) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 6, 2011
I don’t like the fact that Simcoe is a registered trademark, personally I am against trademarking varietals of plant. But that aside, I really do like these hops. Aroma intensely fruity, like apricot but lighter, almost estery but more lasting...fading into a faint piney quality, and a light, sweet graininess. Flavor is bitter up front with sweet finish, but leaving a lasting bitter taste as well. Pleasingly light for the sweetness. Most beers this sweet are bogged down with sourness and are overly heavy. This brew is simultaneously sweet, bitter, and light, and I love it. Very well-executed. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - APR 6, 2011

Pours a soft straw yellow with one finger of creamy white head. Nose is strong and hoppy with pine and citrus notes and a lightly sweet malt character. Flavor is slightly spicy wit lots of grapefruit rind and some caramelly sweetness. Dry palate with a medium bitterness. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAR 28, 2011

Comes out of the tap a clear orange-amber with a thin white head - this may be an artifact of the pour. Surprisingly hoppy aroma has hints of malt and honey. Hoppy flavor has a slightly sweet malty tone plus woody and fruity hints. Smooth, strongly tingly texture leaves a persistent woody/hoppy fizz. coldbrewky (1731) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - MAR 26, 2011
Draft at the Dutch last night with the family for dinner. Fruity nose of malts and hops does say spring to this seemingly endless cold winter we have had. Hops and malts up front are medium bodied and wake the mouth from slumber. Body fades to a weak single flat tone of hops for finish. More malt in this area would smooth this critter into a real gem.
