This was tasted at the Capital Ale House in Innsbrook on their "steal the glass night". This APA was very mild, The clear color and nice head were the strong points. I fail to see the benefits of organic ale. I need to learn what is positive about that. This was a mild verison of APA. Some mild bitterness but very tame. Smooth finish with no bitter aftertaste. drpimento (3814) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 16, 2012
Different brew; instead of the resin/citrus slam there’s more of a cut grass flavoma that is comfortably pleasing. Radical change for the good. Color is a clear amber. Aroma is grass, hop, malt. Flavor is like nose with emphasis on grass. Body is easy, chewy, and drinkable. Finish is like flavor, on the short side, and just flat out good. 60minuteman (1765) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 6, 2012
Poured a light brown with small white lacing. Not much smell...hops and wheat mainly. A nice conflux of fruits and hops in the taste. Watermelon? Light, creamy texture. More hops. scarletfire65 (1531) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2012
Tasted at NYC Craft Beer Festival. Nose is grain and sweet, floral hops. Light bodied. Has a grainy, corny quality. Rough around the edges. rjplumer (1234) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 4, 2012
Piney grapefruit aroma. Soft deep amber color with a light filmy head. Sharp bitter start. Clean dry finish. Refreshing and light. Nice example of the style.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown-orange with a thick off-white head. Aroma of simcoe hops (very sweaty and grassy) with a hint of tropical fruits and citrusy notes. Flavor is quite hoppy upfront with again citrus, sweat, and sweet fruits. Some caramel and bready malt in the finish. This is a hoppy and tasty APA.

Hazes orange pour with white head and lace. Catpee and bready malt. Sweet malt with a very hard bitter. Thin and watery just a tad out of balance but drinkable. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - FEB 26, 2012
Had on tap at a local pub, poured into a pint.
A: clear amber color, nice 1/4" head with great retention, gobs of lacing.
S: slight pine and caramel
T: sweet caramel, buiscuit, over taken by distinctive simcoe hop flavor. Outstanding.
M&d: light to medium bodied , light carbonation. Good drinkability, not drying.
Really quite a revelation!!!

Crisp copper coloured body with a light tan head about a centimetre tall and a few bubbles floating around. Aroma of piney and resiney hops with some malt coming through and a touch of caramel. Medium-bodied; Assertive nutty flavour at first with some caramel, a bit of the hops and a grassy note. Aftertaste shows mostly caramel and malt with a little earth flavour, some light grassy and herbal hops with a floral finish. Overall, a decent APA showing some okay qualities, but nothing great nor to be scouted for. A decent tasting beer that shows well. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 16-February-2012 for US$2.49 sampled at home in Washington on 23-February-2012. sonnycheeba (6539) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 21, 2012
Tap. Pours clear copper with thin, creamy off-white head; short retention and some lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus and earthy hops, light fruit, honey, and bread malt. Flavor is malt forward, medium hops, light esters; hoppy finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.
