COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional summer wheat beer marries a west coast Pale ale. Brewed with locally grown wheat, providing a complex mouthfeel, and single-hopped and generously dry-hopped with Amarillo, creating a glorious citrusy aroma and finish. The approachable 5% abv makes this the perfect session beer on a summer day.

Little bit hoppy for a non-ipa summer beer, but still easy enough to drink. Light and mild.

I'm not a big fan of beer so hoppy it could be growing in the bottle. So this summer session is a fairly good fit. The nose is pleasant. Initial taste is not overly hopped however you know it's there. The other flavors are light and perfect for swinging in the heat while standing in front of the grill. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden yellow. Medium white head. Pretty hoppy for a summer beer. Citrusy hop aroma and flavor throughout. Clean mildly dry finish. ---Rated via iPhone

Pours straw gold with a medium white soapy head. Aroma is floral, citrus and grass. Taste is sweet with some light bitters. Medium bodied, good carbonation, slick texture.

On tap at Finback during a bar crawl through Bar Harbor with my wife. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Soft musk, sweet and bready. Little buttery, soft and musky. Light sweetness, crisp musk, dusky grain. Tolerable, but not worth it.

This brew sucked. I’ve tried a lot of beers via the beer of the month club and this is far and away the worst. I imagine horse piss having more flavor than this. Lemon, grapefruit and hops mixed in the worst way. Save yourself some money. I feel like Beer of the Month club should offer a refund after this crap.

On tap in NYC. Pours a hazy gold color with fluffy white head. Nice hoppy aroma for the style with notes of lemons and green grass. Taste is a good golden ale. light, crisp, refreshing. This is the perfect style for an organic beer. Palate is mellow.

Bottle. I struggled through this one. Was expecting something lighter for a summer session ale. Big grapefruit aroma and flavor from the hops that masked every other flavor and made for poor balance. I’ve had Amarillo singled hopped IPAs that I liked but this didn’t work for me.
