UPDATED: OCT 27, 2017 Amazing Pale Ale, I gotta admit, when I saw that this was brewed on the east coast I kinda expected it to not be very good but I could not have been more wrong! Very refreshing and tasty!!

Taster pour at Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Appearance is hazy, pale yellow without sparkle, 2-finger width foamy white head (though was end of keg). Aroma is citrus, resin, rye? Taste is dominant bittersweet grapefruit, bitter earthy resin. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with soft carbonation and bitter, grapefruit dominant finish. Overall, tasty but pretty one dimensional.

Light and hazy with a great white head. The hips are quite vegetal on the nose, a little flabbier than one might find in a west coast beer. It’s pretty mellow but has a touch of egginess from the yeast that blunts it’s thirst quenching qualities.

Can. Pours hazy amber with a white, 2-finger, foamy to rocky, fully-lasting head that leaves very good lacing. Aroma is fruity citrus and light resin. Flavor of biscuity malts, medium juicy but not as advertized, medium body, average carbonation and a dry, lightly bitter finish of medium duration. Pretty good.

Can from Trader Joe’s in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent light gold with a white head. Aroma is fruit juicy, but something more - not exactly dank, but ... Med body or so. Flavor is fruit juicy, and there is a suggestion, but only that, of dank. It’s fruity, towards dry, juicy, and decently bitter. Quite tasty, tho the flavors are not super strong.

DarkMagus (560) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 8, 2017
Pours a hazy (but not murky) golden-yellow color with thin and not-so-stable white foam. Ultra juicy aromas of orange juice, limonene, and a bit of sweet biscuit. Flavors were loaded with orange and grapefruit, light biscuit malty sweetness, some light piney bitterness. Full-bodied for the abv, very dry astringent finish. The Juice is good. I like The Juice.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2017 Moderately hazed golden with a white head. Juicy tropical hop aroma. Moderately dry yet tropical juicy hop forward.

Notes: can from Boston, Jul ’17
