Small white head, good retention, skimpy lacing. Pale, gold color, lightly hazy. Mild nose of lemon, citrus. Body is med/light, lightly prickly carbo. Nice citrus flavors, dry malts, grain and dough. Dry finish, mild bitterness. Somethings missing, not sure what. Thin, no guts? Wicked? Not really. C 16oz can from statelineliquors.

This canned brew from a restaurant was served at a cold temperature and poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated body very hazy yellow white colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong citrus aftertaste. The sharp flavor contained notes of citrus and hops. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again.

Can dated 11/18/16, so I was a little bit cautious of this, but once I smelled and tasted, I thought, well, this smells, tastes and feels good. This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a semi-hazy rustic orange color with a sly transparency about it. Some messy lacing clings around the sides of the glass nicely. The aroma hits a big piney bitterness flowing over a juicy citrus rind. Grapefruit zest pops the top to kick up a little bit of spice. The flavor grasps a bitter juicy rind-like clingy harsh flavor. That pine comes back to balance nicely (that’s gotta be their house yeast). Sharp bitter piney to remnants of some light juice in the aftertaste leading on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good for what it is. Bitterness feels good and almost close to an AIPA’s harshness on my tongue. Overall, really nice beer from a brewery that I usually don’t go after that much any more. Aw hell, if this was this old and held up like this, I can only imagine what it was like fresh.

Keg at Lui Lui’s - WL NH. Pours clear yellowy gold with a fine, white cream head. The nose has some pale bread, ripening lemon, biscuits. Light sweet flavour with pleasant citrus notes, lemon and graoefruit, crispy pale malts, mild bitter citrus rind. Light-medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced in the finish, more citrus notes, understated bready sweetness, some rind and light pine. Real nice.

Can from Bread and Honey; shared with Linh on Thanksgiving 2016. Pours a bright, hazy golden body with minimal lacing. Nose is bright dry, citric hop, mineral funk and fresh pine. Mouthfeel is bright, crisp and sessionable with notes of dry citrus, fresh and funky pine. Really loved this.

Can from StateLine. Cloudy orange/yellowish color. Not much head but good aroma of flowers, biscuits, lemon. Taste is a juicy american pale ale, lots of flowers, biscuits, lemon, grapefruit. The beer is hoppy but not bitter. Body is light and easy to drink.. Overall, I can dig it!
