Amber pour with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is sweet and boozy with some caramel. Maple flavors are definitely there and the mouthfeel is is nice and full. Decent, a few off flavors detract but it’s allright. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JAN 28, 2013
It pours a clear copper color leaving the same color body. A nice one inch white foamy head appears and concaves to leave some nice foamy lacing around the sides of the pint glass. The body is light enough for some carbonation to be seen rising. The smell is all about the maple up front pretty much masking everything else even after some warming, I was hoping some other possible flavors might show up, but not this time. The taste is exceptionally sweet, perhaps a bit too much maple, I wasn’t expecting this. The palate is about a medium and very smooth, possibly because of the extra maple in this beer. Overall, I really wasn’t expecting this beer to be this good. Though its more of a dessert beer because of the sweetness, I’d probably have it again. I will say its very different for the style. kimjongill (207) - - JAN 18, 2013
Great looking crystal amber pour with thin off-white head. Aroma of maple with a hint of oats and yeast. Taste is not pleasant. Some maple but the bitterness and dryness don’t complement it well at all. Mouthfeel is good. Overall a mediocre beer that I wouldn’t even drink as a session beer. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clouded amber color with a thin whitish head. Aroma is sweet with maple and butterscotch. Flavor is again very sweet with mostly maple dominating with some lingering caramel malt notes. Overall way too sweet for my liking. jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - DEC 21, 2012

On tap at McGregors. Clear amber, fine creamy head + retention. Maple nose and body with a creamy mouth. Decent, not complex. radagast83 (8476) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Poured a clear bronze color, a bit like the color of maple syrup itself - with a small off-white head. Aroma was sweet maple, sugar notes. Not a whole lot else going on in this one. obguthr (6657) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Mild wood and butterscotch nose. Clear copper, thin head. Dried leaves with a kiss of maple syrup. Well balanced, but the flavor could be better. Fizzy. Meh. craig220 (313) - Crofton, Maryland, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Poured a clear amber, dare I say maple, color with a decent but fast dissipating white head. Aroma is very faint maple, cinnamon, caramel, bread, and an earthiness to it. Taste is an interesting semi sweet and bitter smoothness on the tongue that rounds out to a nice maple and floral that lingers for a while. Interesting.
