Draught at the brewpub. Distinct raspberry aroma. Almost black colour. No head. The flavour is tart with a good raspberry note. Mild roasted note in the finish. blipp (9171) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 28, 2009
Draft at the brewpub. Pours near black with a thin off white head. Sweet raspberry jammy aroma with hints of roast and chocolate. The flavor is similar with sweet raspberries and jam, sweet malt and a hint of roast. Nice. SudsMcDuff (8387) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 31, 2012

.. . . i have a very serious complaint, oh damn! blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Pours a dark ruby, brown, with an average size lasting creamy tan head. Decent lacing.
Aroma: whoa, lots of raspberry! Some roastiness and chocolate but mainly raspberries. Flavour: Lots of raspberry again, a bit tart as well, along with roasted malt and a hint of coffee. A bit watery for a Stout. Average bodied. Different that’s for sure. Good though. Radek Kliber (7320) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - NOV 9, 2009

Appearance: ruby brown shade on lighter top.
Nose: great nose of raspberry placed on black chocolate . Solid clean fruit execution. 8-
Flavor/Palate : lighter bodied , sweet raspberry is dominant here. Finishing with chocolate flavours. Lacking body which is a shame.
Black pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is dominated by raspberries with a touch of chocolate coming through. Light raspberry flavor with good chocolate followed by a good bitter finish. Medum bodied with good carbonation. DYCSoccer17 (3691) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 14, 2009
10 ounce sample at the brewpub. Aroma has over the top artificial raspberry notes. It’s pleasant enough, but I do not detect any stout qualities in the aroma. Mildly transparent deep mahogany body with a small off-white head. Wow--just vile. VILE. Sour astringent pukey raspberry flavor dominates this liquid concoction. Finishes with a little chocolate, but goddamn. This is terrible. How can they sleep at night knowing they charge people money for this shit? DISASTEROUS! garthicus (2925) - Dublin, IRELAND - NOV 16, 2009
On tap at the brewpub. Appearance: Pitch black, small tan head. Aroma: Chocolate, raspberry, malt and cream. Flavour: Sour as hell! Lots of fresh raspberries, tart, hoppy, so interesting, lots of carbonation, looks like a porter and drinks like a sour. Nice. bpreo (2832) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 8, 2010
I believe this was a Raspberry Stout, and I believe my girlfriend decided on a pint of this beer with our lunch. I apparently liked it as well. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2011
Lots going on with this one. It pours dark black, head was a little reddish black. it had a nice bite to to it. it had a nice back to it. little bitter not much hops but the raspberries comes over the top and is quite nice.
