An old school bitter dipa with little mouthfeel. Not very impressed by this one. Thin head fades. Lots of buttering hops. One dimensional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The body has a rich coppery orange color with good clarity. It is capped off by a creamy one inch collar of off white foam. As I drink this thick creamy head clings to the glass and coats it with thick lacing all the way down the side. The aroma is mixed with sweet malt and deep citrusy hop notes. The flavor starts of with sweet bready and caramel maltiness on a smooth full palate with some citrusy hop notes just starting to creep in. Bright citrusy grapefruit and orange hop notes slowly take over in the middle and are backed up with a firm smack in the mouth of sticky pine resin hop bitterness. This mix of juicy and resinous hops lingers on into the finish.

Draft - Caramel and grapefruit. Clear gold with a decent white head. Pithy grapefruit, pine and resinous bitterness. Nice balance with caramel. Decent.

Sample from tap at the brewery. Amber with a tight white head; honey aroma; soft in the mouth with a syrupy body and a tropical fruit taste; then a long, grassy, hop finish. Quite pleasant, but I was expecting more punch for the weight.

Nice amber with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is dominated by caramel malt. Sweet bready start with a nice citrus bitter finish, orange zest like I think. Medium body with good carbonation. Nice warmth from a well balanced beer.

Decent imperial ipa. More like a malty pale ale.... Some hop bitterness but not enough

Pours deep copper bronze colour.. Aroma is just slight of bread and earthy, dank basement. Taste is bitter like an imperial brown ale

Bronze-amber body with a cool, frothy cover. Nice forward-hoppy nose, but some wet shoe, funky flavors that detract from the hop notes. A bit off.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel malt. Flavor of bitter hops, sweet sticky malt, citrus, and tropical fruits. A heavy sweet IIPA, not how I like my IIPAs. 7/4/6/3/14 (3.4/5)
