on tap at bier markt, ottawa. clear light gold pout with a small white cap, minimal retention and lacing. toasted and lightly spicy maltiness, lager fruitiness, grainy cereals, grassy nobleness, some leaves, candied lemon peel, clean yeast, hint of cardboard. light carbonation, light body, kind of crisp grassy-herbal finish. not a macro lager offering - more than decent stuff.

"i gotta say...a bit of a pleasant surprise here. looked standard, but smelled kinda nice, for a food beer at least, and didn’t taste like corn and skunk. a higher quality pale lager."

hotstuff (5258) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 12, 2014
Rated on 7-05-2012 (Bottle-Siciliano’s Market-Grand Rapids, MI) This beer has a small white head with a lengthy retention, hazy golden body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, and toffee. The flavor mimics the aroma along with a dry finish. The mouthfeel light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is flat tasting, boring and lacks character. This is a beer I do not recommend.

Ruprecht_007 (959) - Cesky Tesin, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 21, 2014
Barva: světlejší zlatá, pěna středně hustá, nedržící. Vůně: příjemná sladová s nádechem chmele. Chuť: na italské poměry celkem slušný ležák plzeňského typu, vyvážené středně plné tělo, vyšší sladová chuť, střední hořkost s příjemným lehkým chmelovým dozvukem.

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Golden color. Sweet aroma with some herbal-peppery hops. Sweetish honeyish taste with restrained herbal-peppery hops and medium bitterness. Light bodied. Maltiness is weak, feels like a fizzy yellow drink.

thirstyrabbit (1851) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 17, 2013
Small bottle. Golden body, minimal head. Grainy and metallic aroma. They may have used soft spring water but the beer uses papery hops and the taste has something metallic in it too. A story of wasted potential.

330ml brown bottle from an Italian stall in the Market Hall at Nancy. Whiff of stale hops. Dry. Thin. Cereal malt. There’s little to like about this. Probably best drunk ice cold and very quickly. It was quite cheap, and it tastes it.

Marduk (8404) - Reval, ESTONIA - DEC 30, 2012
330ml bottle (Trattoria Il Gallo Nero). Pale golden color, no head flat. Papery, malty aroma. Papery, malty in flavor. Very typical pale lager. No character.
