For an unappealing style, this was a good beer. Your standard macro lager doesn’t come close. Decent aroma of light malts with a tinge of hops. Clear golden color with fizzy white head. Light weight palate and crisp finish. Hops are detected up front with a straw and slightly spicy finish. A little sweetness as well. Easy to drink with food. Schertz, Tx. - H.E,B. grocery store - 12 oz bottle. Slight haze to the light golden pour, soft, snow white head, trace of lacing. Buttery aroma, a touch of yeast. Flavor has some yeasty accents, a touch of cake mix sweetness, Mouthfeel has a decent crispness to it. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 15, 2016
Pours a clear yellow golden color with white head. Cereal grains mostly on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes pretty crisp and clean. Decent lager, nothing too fancy, but very light and drinkable. edgallow (4362) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 28, 2012
12 oz bottle pours golden with awhile head. Aroma of malt, grain and grass. Taste was malt with just a hint of hops.

The beer pours a very clear yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is full of grain, with some wheat and a little bit of grass thrown in. The flavor is very similar. I get a lot of biscuit malt and grain notes, with a little bit of toffee. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. This is a fairly straightforward, one-dimensional beer. However, there is nothing offensive going on and it is refreshing and easy to drink.

311012. Tap at the friendly spot, San Antonio Texas. Pours clear copper with a nice head. Aroma butter, hay. Slightly sweet. Easy to drink large quantities on a hot day. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Bottle: Yellowish straw, fairly clear, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing. Grassy nose, sweet mealiness, some straw and hay as well. Similar on the tongue, clean, grassy, fairly sweet. Doesn’t come across as corny or overly mealy, which I like. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Clean finish, just sweet grassy notes with some straw and hay on the exit. Average, but solid for a Pale Lager.   Thanks Bill! jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - FEB 24, 2013
