Petbottle (2) - ENGLAND - APR 12, 2007 does not count
Canned. Little aroma, and appearance was similar to the stereotypical "canned lager". But the flavour was very pleasant; I was surprised at how drinkable it was given the comments so far (and the fact that it gives the appearance of having been dreampt up by Inbev’s marketing department), and I’d get it again if I was buying tins to take to a barbecue. But I’d not make a habit of drinking it if I wanted interesting beer.

Canned. A light gold coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is dry and a bit oaty. There definitely is a little coriander flavour and lemony notes. No real depth of flavour but more than just a dull pale lager.

DruncanVeasey (8643) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2007
UPDATED: APR 18, 2007 Belgian white?? Nothing like it. Dryish grainy cardboard/cereal flavoured. Not a sniff of spice. Ash-sprinkled Weetabix. A lick of copper penny. Nasty bitter metallic finish. Possibly some chalky apple fruitiness in the nose (as well as the metal). Admittedly some buttery- biscuity afters, but far too little too late.

rauchbier (3960) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2007
Can, from Asda. Gold, lasting white head and gentle condition. Gentle chalky graininess in the nose, quite thin in the mouth with a trace vanilla and coriander note but little else, short slightly spicy dry finish with a little oiliness on the lips.

nigos (631) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2007
A nasty, cheap, band, completely devoid of taste beer that is shamelessly marketed on the back of the ’wife beater’s’ favourite , Stella Artios. Cheap skunky taste and a miserable 4% abv. Reminds me of Carling. Rubbish that isn’t even that cheap.

iammadeofjelly (194) - Liverpool, Merseyside, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2007
how is it a witbier? there’s nothing wit about it. Bland dull, basic lager. 4% cos of ’binge’ drinking in britain, trying to make all the beers into carling.

scotty (1241) - SCOTLAND - FEB 25, 2007
Thin & lacking on all fronts really, alledgedly a wheat beer but has no discernible wheat beer characteristics and is a paltry 4%! Ok that’s a bit unfair, there is a very slight spicy edge to the palate, from the coriander I assume! Can from Tesco.

RoyceH (1200) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - FEB 18, 2007
Gold with a thin white bubbly head, slightly cloudy. Aroma was dull and dusty fruits, mouth was much more hoppy, some straw and some more fruit. Not great, by a long stretch.

ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2007
Golden colour with a small white head. Malty, fruity and sweet aroma with a vague hoppy note. Malty, grainy sweet with an alcohol touch in a carbonated finish. it was a surprise to see this beer listed as a witbier, I would have said "macro pale lager".

TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 14, 2007
Draught at The Holly Bush in Hampstead Heath (London). A clear amber with a filmy head. Not much of an aroma, just a little flowery hops coming though. Quite a smooth palate at first with just a touch of dryness in the finish. A little grassiness flavourwise, but pretty bland all up.
