Slightly hazy amber color, good off-white head. Slightly caramelly, mostly malty aroma. Caramelly, sweetish with medium carbonation. Some distant notes of grassy hops and alcohol. Nice caramelly, alcoholic aftertaste. Neutral but drinkable.

Hazy copper color, small white head. Sweet, sugary, malty, caramel scent. Malty, sweet, full taste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Draught at the brewpub: In comparison to its name quite amber coloured with a slowly collapsing off-white head; traces of vinegar in the sweet-malty and toasted-malty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite gassy, quite light bodied for a beer of 16°; traces of dried fruits (raisins) in the average sweet-malty and slightly bitter finish. Quite a boring brew..... MartinT (10155) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 11, 2013
My Bottom Line:daniele (9888) - ITALY - FEB 23, 2010
Floral hops and svelte caramel malts lean on alcohol and wooden hop bitterness in this storyless, unpolished lager.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the misty amber.
-Carbonation was soft and the body slender, which normally would have helped drinkability.
-Fruity edges are found.
-Another disappointing offering from Pegas. Tastes like this brewery is on auto-pilot, living off of tourists and business people staying at the hotel. There are many better places in Brno...

(Rating #4846) Gurthnar (6293) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - APR 23, 2012
On tap at brewery restaurant. Slightly hazy deep copper colour. Medium creamy beige head. Aroma of honey, caramel, grassy hops, spicy (cinnamon?). Taste medium to heavy sweet, light to medium bitter. Light bitter, light sweet finish. JulienHuxley (5985) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 14, 2013
On tap at the brewpub (04/03/13). Clear dark gold pour topped by a thin white head. Aroma is really booze froward, pretty aggressive and aggravating, estery, pineapple-booze, not particularly inviting. Grainy as in grain alcohol flavour, pineapple, really fruity, a tad cloying. Palate is well carbed that manages to cut through some of the sweetness, but it is still quite unpleasant.
