An amber beer with no head. Both the flavor and aroma is dry and hoppy, though the flavor also contains malty notes. joergen (28177) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2005
Clear amber coloured with a small off white head.
Aroma of malts, orange peel and spices.
Flavour of malts and fruits with notes of orange peel. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 24, 2014
Bottled (backlog). Amber colour with a mediumsized creamy white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is strong bready malts along with with some biscuits and mild herbal and grassy notes as well. Flavour is rather similar, but also has some elements of wood and mild spiciness. Also a bit berryish notes as it warms up.

(Bottle 25 cl) Pretty, clear amber colour with a fine, dense, creamy cappuchino-like head. Delicate, spicy and quite perfumy nose. Lightly sweet, caramel-like malt character. Very smooth with a short, dry lightly hoppy palate. 020705 Travlr (24913) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 29, 2011
OK, entering this beer is sure to touch off the discussion, seen in the forums many times, about whether to enter beers like this that are found in other countries, but brewed here inAfrica. I have no idea if the recipe is different. Label says "Brasserie et embouteillee sous licence intenationale par SOBOA Dakar Senegal." SOBOA is the French term for the society of brewers of west africa. So,you make the call. This one, courtesy of USAID, was a clear chestnut color, small beige head with poor retention. Aroma of caramel and light smoke. Taste had a sweet caramel start withabitterand peppery finish. One way or the other, it’s nice to see something besides a lager brewed in west Africa. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 21, 2004
Light amber color. Not bad, but absolutely nothing to say, just some caramel (of course…). Koelschtrinker (20419) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 10, 2011
Sanft herb-malziger Antrunk.
Danke an quack-duck.

65cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Peppery, malty aroma which is excellent. Spicey cinnamon too. Soft in mouth. Then spicey/cinnamon finish with some candy sugar, and then hop too. Very good if uncomplicated
