Den typischen Ambrée Geschmack kann man herausschmecken und es schmeckt mir wirklich nicht schlecht, wegen der milde bleibt es aber dennoch unter meinen Erwartungen. Test vom 21.9.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,9,8,8,10,9 - 9,05

Light brown body, fairly nice except that the tan head collapses quickly. Caramel, biscuits, even oatmeal (but only is maltyness, not character). No hops here. Sweet taste of simple malts and some brown sugar, yet too thin to provide a good mouth feel. Big bubbles don’t help either. It has a nicer drinkability than most French blond’s but is too sweet to be called sessionable. The brewer took some short-cuts here, I think. (25cl bottle from Auchan)

Bona cervesa, equilibrada i gustosa. Buena cerveza, equilibrada y sabrosa.

Correct, un premier gout caramel un peu trop prononcé a mon gout, mais un assez bon palais..

Aroma consists of toffee and grain, while the appearance is tan/red. This beer has a sweet and sour character and a slightly "off" character. Its OKish.

joergen (28108) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2005
Bottled. Clear amber coloured with a small off white head. Aroma of malts, orange peel and spices. Flavour of malts and fruits with notes of orange peel.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2007
Dark golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of flower and caramel. The flavour is sweetish with notes of caramel and fruit. The finish is dry and hoppy. Charming, but not outstanding.

mgoy (344) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 14, 2008
I sampled this on tap at Culture Bière, Champs Elisées, Paris. Pelforth Ambrée is a drinkable Amber Ale. While the color is a nice deep amber, there is a quickly disappearing head. The aroma is a bit hoppy and the flavor is malty with less complexity than desired.

Stefano (2007) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2008
Amber gold, moderate white head and low condition. Mild malty and grassy aroma. Flavour is caramel and with some dried fruit, apricot. OK bitter aftertaste.

Calisky (2941) - ALSACE, FRANCE - JUN 21, 2014
Couleur ambrée, légère mousse. Nez leger épicé et malté. Gout leger de caramel et mal. Sans plus
